Outstanding story!
Outstanding story! If only he could see the state of our military today, after 4 years of Biden. I would highly recommend this book.

Unbelievable, but true Autobiography
I have actually read all of Capt. Marcinko's books to date; however, this book is the best by far because its his true-life adventures in the World Of SPEC War. Growing up not too far from where Capt. Marcinko was born, I became fascinated with his story. To read of his adventures and his antics and to see what was done to him in return is unbelievable. What makes it scary is that it is true. I'm not going to go into the scemantics of the writing style or break down the entire book for you, but what I am going to do is tell you the truth... Yes, this book may be hard for some of you to read. Yes, he may be an egocentric adrenaline junky, but first and foremost, he is a soldier, who has served his country and fought for the freedom we all take for granted. In the times in which we live, we need a true hero like Dick Marcinko to make us proud to be Americans, because we have so few hero's to look up to now. If you don't like his abrasive philosophising and his "take the world by the balls" attitude then all I have to say is "Doom on You". Dick Macinko is a true hero and a present day warrior and its men like him who have served our country in times of need, and who have fought and given up their lives for our country, that makes me proud to be an American.

Rogue Warrior
Dick Marcinko is not easy to define. This book is a novel written as a sort of autobiography. I don't know how much is true nor false. Regardless, it is a good read.

REAL LIVE HEROISM
A truly amazing autobiography written by Dick Marcinko, the toughest US NAVY SEAL to ever jump onto or off of a boat, anywhere, anytime, any ocean, any hemisphere. When you read this book you will have a good idea about what it takes to be a hero.

The US Navy needs 10000 Dickie Marcinkos now
In the era of the Woke Navy that can't sail, shoot or fornicate in a straight line, Marcinko's first book is a breath of fresh air that takes the reader back to a time when the military was focused on killing people and breaking things. Want to know what it was like to be a SEAL in the 60's, read the book. Want to know how SEAL Team 6 and Red Cell were founded, read the book. Marcinko is a one mean hombre, but with a great sense of a humor. As a former army officer, I love his take on the brass and his constant wars with them. Highly entertaining and informative. Garryowen!

Tough Hombre
I am sure the author deserves all the accolades, and has earned all the medals of a distinguished career. This guy is John Wayne multiplied by 10, very full of himself, as he describes how he challenged one and all, that did not meet his high standard of training and demeanor. I found it interesting enough, but because of the nature of the way in which he talks about his life, and how he put in their place even Green Berets, as if compared to his outfit, there were of lesser impact, I grew a little skeptical as I read along. That he is tough there is no doubt, that he is larger than life, either. Rogue Warrior by Richard Marcinko is a wild ride, from a highly decorated and respected american warrior. To that extent this seal conveys the certainty that he would be the right fighter to have around in a serious fight. 3.5 Stars.
