Escoda Ultimo Series 1526 Artist Watercolor and Acrylic Paint Brush, Synthetic Squirrel, Travel Round, Size 8

I've recently ordered several escoda watercolor brushes and I love how they perform. I've been trying to get away from animal hair brushes and Escoda's synthetic brushes make the transition easy. Their brushes are fantastic. I think they will last longer too.

If I could give this 10 Stars I would. This is the best watercolor brush I have ever had in my life. I own a lot of watercolor brushes. This brush holds so much water and pigment that you could paint forever and never lose color. The tip is perfectly pointed. The way it lays the paint down on the paper is perfect. The color is always consistent. I love that it's the travel one so my brush will never get wrecked. What a great idea! If you could only get a couple of brushes I would get these. You're going to see Superior results whether you're a beginner or an advanced painter. I loved it so much I went and got a number six as well. Most people only use three or four brushes and I would make this brand top choice.

This brush impressed me. It hold a lot of water, soft when I need it to move, but bounce back when I need it to, and left a clean ending. I am happy. So far I mainly use it for initial layer of color and large area wet on wet in my watercolor practices. I almost feel I should not use such good brush, since I am a beginner.

I really These brushes. Or rather I want to like them. Mine came with a bent point, which despite every tutorial on YouTube pertaining to the subject, specialized, soaps, chemicals, etc. I cannot get straightened back out. My other brushes made by this company seem to work better in terms of how they hold paint, etc.. I’m wondering if the travel brushes are a lower quality product. Or maybe I just got a dud. I don’t think I would buy this product again.

As a professional artist I only paint with Escoda brand brushes, thank you Amazon for carring excellent products.

Holds an incredible amount of paint and as big as it is, it holds a fine point.

This is the best watercolor brush I have ever used. Holds a lot of water. 9x12 is the biggest size of paper I work in so far and the brush performs awesome. I got it on sale so I'm double the happy.

This came with a giant sticky sticker on the brush that is going to be a hassle to remove. For a $25 brush, I expect better.
