Never Girls #2: The Space Between (Disney: The Never Girls)

My daughter loved Peter Pan and the Tinkerbell movies. She doesn’t like/is intimidated by a lot of books especially if they are long chapter books. But these are only like 100 pages and are a fast easy read. She really got into this series.

My 6 year old daughter is a big fan of Disney Fairies. Her favorite color is blue so her favorite fairy is Silvermist. She has been a big fan of the Pixie Hollow Tales book series and we probably have a dozen of those books. When we saw this new series, we picked up the first book as soon as we could. The first Never Girls book was great. It had a slightly lower reading level making it a better reading book for my daughter. She is good with the first series, but struggles on a few words here and there. In addition, there is a lot of consistency between the Never Girls series and the Pixie Hollow series meaning some of the terms that are unique to the Disney Fairies universe are used in both books. The consistency makes the new series a great compliment to the original. Now that we knew she loved the Never Girls series, we ordered books 2 and 3, which she finished in a matter of a few days, and pre-ordered books 4, 5 and 6. Once Never Girls #4 arrived, she finished it in a matter of days and really enjoyed it just like the previous books. We have since ordered every book in this series. My daughter loves these books. They are basically written on a third grade level, but my daughter, whose reading level is far above grade level, still enjoys reading them for fun. They keep her interested, and I continue to buy the next book in the series for her as they are released. My younger daughter, who is in 2nd grade, has just started the series and she enjoys them as well. The first book was purchased for my older daughter by her teacher. The books are well written, with proper syntax and grammar, but also written in a "child's voice". If your child likes fantasy and magic, these are great books!

My Granddaughter continues to love this series. It is a great product.

My 7 year old daughter loves this book series. She read the whole book in one day! It is unusual to find something that will keep her interest long enough to get through a whole book. I love the series too because it is very age appropriate and doesn't teach ugly behavior like several of the popular book series for this age group.

Age appropriate, great story, my daughters couldn’t put this down. Read in one sitting.
