Doesn’t fit on RS2418 need Modification
Doesn’t fit on RS2418 need Modification Doesn’t come with the 4 holes guide but still can make it work just by adding some paint on the guide then align 4 screws holes to mark the pad then carefully open the 4 holes with a 1/8 drill bit and voila done nothing crazy to make it just giving 2 star because of the description

Can work for old B&D with 1-1/4 screw spacing with some slight modifications. Great pad!
Used this pad to replace the worn out one on my old Black and Decker also with 4 screws and 1-1/4 spacing. This pad worked, but it did require some modification. Notably, I used a burr bit to slightly widen the center hole. On my old pad there were also holes between the pre-drilled holes that line up with small pegs. So I took the old pad, drilled all the way through it, and then used the old pad as a template to locate the in-between holes on the new pad. All in all, it took maybe 5-10 minutes to modify this pad to work on my B&D. If you have no way of slightly widening the center hole however, it would be disappointing. If I didn't have burr bits to use, I probably would have used the dremel to widen the center hole. It's plastic though, so it cuts easily enough. The pad itself is made well and is of good quality. Easily as good as the original. The velcro worked well and holds tight. I was very happy to save my old B&D for under $10 vs. buying a whole new sander. It took a little modification/customization, but the end result is well worth the effort.

It fit my Skil 7492 with slight modification
Seller does not say it fits a Skil 7492 but it will with a slight modification. If you take your existing base off you'll notice there are four small posts that fit into the holes between the screw holes on the 7492 base. Those holes are NOT on this part so the new base does not fit tightly as the old one does. But, if you use the old base as a template and drill through the old base and partially into the new one the posts will fit into those holes and the base fits snugly. I used a piece of tape to mark the drill bit for the proper depth. If you don't do this, this base will work but it appears that the dust created from sanding could accumulate under the base and damage the drill.

It is a good replacement, and one of the fastest Prime shipments I have received.
It has a descent grip, its pad is firmer than the original, but that may not be a bad thing. Used this on a TackLife sander, but that requires a retrofit. It is not a direct fit ,it is 4 hole but the Tacklife's screw threads are 1/16 further in on all 4 thread taps. I drilled all 4 openings on the pad back to 5/16 and added 4 flat washers to the screws. Worked great , but not suggesting this methods for everyone. Not the manufacturers fault ,took a chance because it looked so close and it was part luck -part skill. If you have a correct (matched fit) sander I could recommend it.

With small mod also fits Ryobi RS240
I ordered this for my 15-year-old Ryobi RS240 sander. The replacement pad seemed thicker and a bit stiffer than the original, but the screw holes and dust holes were in the same places as the old pad. My sander has 4 little plastic studs sticking out from the mounting plate, about 3/32" diameter and sticking out about 1/8". The original pad had holes which received these studs, but this replacement did not. I easily fixed this by taking the old pad, clamping it to the new pad with the screw holes perfectly aligned, then using the (stud-receiving) holes in the old pad as a guide, drilled through both pads to create the needed holes. Having done that, the replacement fits perfectly. I have not sanded with it yet, but it seems to be a superior replacement for the original. The pad I received was marked "Milwaukee" on the bag, but I don't know if that was the manufacturer or only the brand of sander it was intended to fit.

Wow
I bought this pad for my corded 6034-21 Milwaukee random orbital sander. My new Sandnet disc's just fell off the old pad. The grip on this new pad is phenomenal. It fit perfectly. I highly recommend.

Fits right. Holds tight.
Perfect fit on my Milwaukee random orbit sander. I checked and it’s a perfect fit for my Craftsman too so I’m going to order another one. I used it to finish a project and it worked great.

Wrong dimensions given.
Three stars because the seller, ToolOrbit, listed incorrect dimensions in answer to a customer's question. I bought it specifically based on that answer because I'm trying to revive an older Craftsman sander. The distance between adjacent screw holes is 1 and 1/8", NOT 1 and 1/4" as stated by the seller. Other than that, it appears to be well made. But since it won't fit my sander, I have no experience using this pad, so can't comment on it's usefulness or durability. On the plus side, the seller is accepting the return with no hassles.
