How can it be so cheap?Got assisted 'foot in the door' ?

We bought these because we wanted to give my 3 year old nephew my old razor electric dirt bike from when I was a kid. But it is just way too fast stock. So we hooked up one of these potentiometer to the throttle wire and now my brother-in-law will be able to finely tune how fast they want my nephew to be able to go.

They were not meat to be precision pots, reasonable quality, first one read 33-468 ohms. Work for what I needed.

These 250K ohm potentiometers were just okay. They worked for my power supply project but if you need exactly 250K ohm look elsewhere!I measured 219K ohm, 220K ohm and one that was 217K ohm with my calibrated Fluke meter.The hardware was fine, the washers and nuts worked properly. The knob was the nicest part albeit it is plastic. It is from China and at this price it is acceptable for a home project.

I build things, I'm in to ham radio so I make up little devices for my hobby that sometimes needs output controlling. These little pots are very useful

Function very well and look good. Be sure to read the specs on size. They are on the medium to large size I had to modify my mounting location but that was 100% on me for not reading the description that was clearly spelled out in the product info area. Knobs look good and turn very smoothly and I am pleased with the quality of the items.

Great product, spot on resistance values, using the potentiometers for a diagnostic tool, the knobs and rotary movement are heavy making it enjoyable and precise to use, unlike some that have sloppy operation

Checked them with a digital multi meter before using them on a project. They were spot on. Pots sweep smoothly, and accurately.

They work well and shipping was quick. The knobs have a nice look to them.
