Needed in hurry to repair the short end of a damaged in wall cable. Ordered and then waited in some trepidation after seeing some negative reviews. Have used phono plugs for 40 plus years - need good spectacles with these - but would be same if soldering. The screw connection works fine with solid core shielded cable. I suspect might well struggle to tighten screw grip on a thin braided wire. It worked well for me, in an awkward and confined space as the termination of a shielded subwoofer cable. Next day delivery, got me to of a jam. make are good light and specs if you need them.

Look cheep enough but does the job and works great and have screw no need to solder

Worked ok but super fiddly to connect the wires. Not sure how robust it will turn out to be as hard to make connections really secure. I think if they fail I will resort to soldering them and shrink wrapping to ensure a quality signal

I was trying to fit two core cable and it was too difficult to crimp one of the cables round a small diameter wire.The coax function was unnecessary for my purpose because I was attaching speaker output cables.

Not the best quality. Screws fit well.

Good quality item. Couldn't use them for the particular job I ordered them for but they've gone in my case and I'm sure I'll be using them soon.
