If you care about your food, why not care about what you wrap it in.1. Wrap half an onion or half a watermelon in a Goldbee Wax Wrap to keep your food fresh, while avoiding plastic. Simply use your hands to fold a wrap over your food or container and seal with gentle pressure. Wrap a bar of soap for travel or a bouquet of fresh flowers. Goldbee Wax Wraps are fine and proven for cheese, but avoid wrapping meat or egg in them, as you can not use water over 140 °F to wash the wraps. 2. To wash, wipe down with a cloth using lukewarm water and your favorite chemical-free soap. Store with your tea towels in a dry place; or, save the packaging for as an easy way to keep your wraps organized. We make Wax Wraps from 100% cotton, beeswax, organic jojoba oil and tree resin. Beeswax is a natural antibacterial agent, while the jojoba oil and tree resin make our wraps sticky so they shape to your food. FAQ How long can I use my Wax Wraps? On average, each sheet should get about 120 - 150 uses, but it ultimately depends on how often and how intensively and for what purpose you use them. Some people will get a year out of them - especially when used as bowl toppers - while others who beat them up on a daily basis may get closer to 4 - 6 months. My Wax Wrap does not stick - Help! Make sure you have warm hands to maneuver the wrap around the object. Some bowl surfaces are not suitable for Wax Wraps, particularly artificial surfaces. Metal, glass and wood are best. Plastic works too, but not always. All Wax Wraps should wrap firmly around fruit and vegetables.
