I’d never made elderberry syrup before buying this kit. I had just run out of a store-bought elderberry tincture/syrup and found that making it was a cheaper option. This was very easy to use and I was able to quadruple(?) the amount of elderberry syrup yielded by doubling to 9 cups of water at a time and letting it simmer twice as long. I did this two times since there was such a large amount of elderberries in the tea bag. The second go round I simmered even longer. It ended up making 128 ounces, which is awesome! I added some honey for taste and it tastes good enough to NOT dread drinking it everyday. For anymore wondering, it has a tea consistency, not thick like syrup.

I love that it was simple, easy and absolutely delicious. I did mine in the instant pot,it gives you two ways either stove top or instant pot.

Wonderful product! 10/10! So easy to make and easy to read directions. I made one batch and had read in reviews on Amazon that others had made 2-3 batches out of their kit. I got about 2 1/2 batches out of the kit. It made approx 10 cups of elderberry syrup. Please understand that homemade elderberry syrup is NOT a syrup. It is more of a tea product. Commercial companies in big stores make it into a syrup, meaning more crape put into the product. This kit is wonderful for a beginner. Easy instructions and had everything you need to make elderberry syrup. I added 2 tbsps of local honey to each batch, you don’t have to but it gives it a nice little sweetness. The color is beautiful too! Will def buy again!

Was gifted a different brand that I couldn't find anymore but wanted to continue to use. This make more than the previous one I had tried. Very simple and more economical to make your own with this prepackaged mix.

I like to make my own syrup because at the store is super expensive, and doing it by myself can control the sweetness level
