WoW, I just got a 2-pack of these True Blue LED bulbs, and they really light up my room, and at 4.5 watt it's amazing how much light they put-out. I originally had 2 - 25 Watt incandescent colored bulbs installed into my wall sconces and they were only half as bright as these 4.5 Watt bulbs..They are pretty much a perfect blue, and just two of them light up my 15 X 12 room with no problem. Also note; even after an hour of runtime, they are are barely warm to the touch.

I live in a semi dark zone outside the city, I have telescopes that I set up in the backyard on clear nights. I put these bulbs up in the ceiling lights next to my backdoor, I can now take equipment outside and have a very low red light to see & save my night vision =)these bulbs are a little brighter than I was hoping but provide good light for seeing while retaining my night vision.

I was looking for a red light bulb that would fit into an enclosed fixture (for a nice red ambience) while I do Red Light Therapy, and possibly also a bulb that would work for Red Light Therapy, and this does both.They aren't too hot or too bright. I don't want to cover up parts of my face that need therapy. Most of my other therapy bulbs are so bright that I have to close my eyes and cover them, but not these. I can have one of these bulbs within two inches of my face with my eyes open.I had previously bought a red party light bulb that turned out to be orange. I tried using it for Red Light Therapy with my eyes open and it started to give me a mild headache. I used a near-infrared light bulb to clear up my headache and returned the orange bulbs the next day. It's so nice that these Sunlite bulbs are actually red and don't give me a headache.

Seriously, that’s it, they’re actually red and not some shade of orange like so many other bulbs. If red bulbs are what you want, don’t waste your time buying anything else.They’re not outstandingly bright, but if you’re trying to set the mood they’re just right. We loved them so much we bought more of them.

It's hard to find orange lights and I was thrilled to find them on Amazon. We have 5 pot lights above our garage and sidewalk to our front porch. For Halloween, we put up these orange lights and so many kids comment on them when they come trick or treating. The orange colour is so so clear and bright. It certainly makes our house stand out! We just love them.
