Very well built; weighty without being tiring, solid and a bit longer than you might expect.Being supercardiod, it does a great job at keeping other noises from its input.The range frequency is great and produces super quality to its competitor(s) - it seems to have more presence to it and the mids pick up really well, helping the vocals cut through any music. This isn't to say it's harsh at all - my lower range vocals come over as much smoother with this than other mics and the highs aren't piercing at all (no obvious blow-outs, at least not yet). Just to be clear, there doesn't appear to be any artificial compression in it; it can just handle voices especially well and seems very well balanced. Haven't tried it to record instruments as yet. Voice-over work, again, due to the frequency range it seems to handle it well and directionality means some head-turning to read presents no real issues.It is just a really good, comfortable dynamic mic and I do find it better than some of the old favourites out there.

Classic looking microphone with a great tone. Well made and comes with its own protective case. You have to sing directly into the mic and it won’t pick any vocals up from the sides.

Male singer baritone I arrived at venue with terrible in house PA, no sound check, Paddy.s night chaosLeft the EQ flat and took the gain to orange peaks. The Solo was clear as bell and handled shouting low notes with no boom and littles proximity.I have used it through good PA's up to 10k and recorded guitar amps again superb.Is it a SM killer? THe SM is industry standard for a reason, it's built like a tank and every sound engineer in the world knows it's rrsponse, it cuts through crap PA's and is a a great guitar amp mic. If you use one PA there are several great mics in this price range or lower but you need to try them.The Solo handled low notes with greater clarity and has a better middle than the SM in my opinion also it just feels more like singing than singing into a microphone, more open and airy with little colouring, feed back or handling noise. It,s cardiod is just right you can sing round it and it is smooth and responsive as you back off and approach with better Mids and non of the SM proximity mud. I believe it is a work/racehorse of a Mic and is not just better for me but better than the SM 58 and up in priceIt is also built like a tank in the UK but may be a little heavy for singers who hold the mic and you need the Solo mic holder.

Absolutely Love this Microphone! I’ve used industry standard mics such as the Shure SM58 etc at gigs and this just blows them out of the water. The sound quality is fantastic. Very satisfying, clear sound with great built in EQ. The build quality is excellent. It feels quite heavy and quite chunky in your hand but reassuringly sturdy with it. Also fits into standard mic stand clips no problem. I can’t rate this enough! It’s absolutely brilliant!

I always wanted to treat myself to a quality Mike. These can be extraordinarily expensive though. My meagre talent doesn't really warrant premium pricing.However, I was watching Jon Gomm on youtube and his gear list included this microphone and I looked it up and was astounded at the price so I ordered one. I'm pleased to say that it is absolutely brilliant.

A great mic for the price, suits may voice better than the ever present sm58. It has a nice hi fi sheen to it. I also possess a Sontronics Mercury, which is my main studio mic, and it is also superb.

An excellent mic spoiled by the design and the finish. It is very chunky and slips out of the hand easily. The finish on the casing causes noise when handling. Good points excellent reproduction and feels like a quality build. Can't see it becoming as popular as the SM58 or e935 at the same price point which is a shame because it's made in the U. K.

A questo prezzo credo sia impossibile trovare un microfono di questa qualità!Su voce maschile (registro tenore) nessuna equalizzazione necessaria, la voce esce dal mix in maniera perfetta. Zero feedback.Unica nota: può risultare un po' stancante se tenuto in mano per esibizioni live, perché di impugnatura larga e un po' pesante.

Tiene el nivel del beta 58 pero la voz suena con más cuerpo y con los mismos armónicos estoy muy contento con él tengo que decir que me vino con la cápsula despegada no me querido quejar porque luego dicen los de aquí que devuelvo muchas cosas y lo he solucionado yo

El artículo tenía aspecto de haber sido manipulado y la sorpresa al abrirlo es mayúscula. Por el precio al que se vende este micro, lo mínimo es intentar no endosarle a nadie uno defectuoso (ya antes de abrir su embalaje daba la sensación que había sido abierto con anterioridad. Dejo esta mala crítica no por el micro en sí, que es fantástico, sino como aviso a posibles víctimas que les llegue este producto en estas condiciones.

Una bomba! Un microfono professionale ad un prezzo fantastico. Nessun fischio sul palco anche ad alti volumi. Ho avuto di tutto negli ultimi 20 anni, Shure, Electrovoice, Senheiser, Beyer-Dynamic nello stesso range di prezzo, questo e' imbattibile. Il suono e' preciso su tutte le frequenze. Costruito come un carro armato.L'unico contro, se puo' considerarsi tale, e' che il clip e' fatto apposta per il microfono. Dopo il concerto svitatelo dall'asta e conservatelo nella custodia insieme al microfono cosi' da non rischiare di dimenticarlo a casa al prossimo live.
