Perfect
My six year old loves Fly Guy! He loves to read, so I like to keep him engaged in this wonderful hobby. I do find myself wanting to see a few difficult words in these books for educational purposes.

Another great FLY GUY
My 6 yr old son was introduced to these books at his 6th birthday party. He loves them. Such an adorable series about a boy and his pet fly. In this particular book Buzz and fly Guy go on a field trip with Buzzs' class to where else....a fly swatter factory..LOL...We home school and use these books as part of our reading out loud time. My son does just fine reading them. I would say they are close to a "Step Into Reading" Level 2. What is great is that it doesn't have the huge level number on the cover so my son feels like he is reading a "real" book. He has severe ADHD and at times seems upset by the level number on those books and even calls similiar books "baby books". My daughter who is 4 also enjoys being read Fly Guy to by her 6 yr old brother.I have even pre ordered the next Fly Guy book as we have read every single one of them so far from the library. I am so glad we were introduced to these very sweet books. The relationship between the boy and the fly is just so special.

So Special!
I bought 4 Fly Guy books for my 7 year old nephew. He loves these books! He told me he had read one from his school library. He said now he would have his own library! So I bought him a small bookcase and plan to fill it with Fly Guy books! These are the cutest books, I love them, too! So glad I found them on Amazon! Great purchase!

Buzz's field trip has a deadly destination...
Fly Guy goes almost everywhere with Buzz. This time they're off to school on a field trip.To their horror, the destination is a flyswatter factory! Not only is Fly Guy's life in danger, the life of any fly in the factory is forfeit. The robotic flyswatter of the future, manufactured here, lets no fly escape to fly another day. It's fun to watch Fly Guy defeat the machine and save a young fly from a horrific fate. The illustrations are adorable, as usual. The bizarre factory interior is particularly amusing. The plot is simple but funny and endearing. Both the young and the not-so-young should find this book entertaining. Another winner in a winning series!

My 5 year old grandson loves this series. The reading is easy with a little help and the illustrations are fun. He has several in this series and keeps asking for more.

Excellent chapter books to develop independent reading skills!
My son who is five and in kindergarten loves this series of books! They are engaging and help reinforce sight words and phonics. My son and I when he is challenged with reading a word stretches the word then sweeps the word. Helps his learning to read independently. I am 2nd grade ESE teacher and my students love these books! They are leveled at 1.5 AR (Accelerated Reader level).
