Color:Black These cups are made from porcelain slip, and sanded to have a smooth, silky surface for you to hold them by. Glazed on the inside and just over the edge to offer a generous lip - the rest of the cup body is 'nude' allowing your fingers direct contact with the luxurious porcelain. I decide to design these after working with the coffee greats: La Marzocco and Seattle's own Synesso. I thought it was time to develop my own coffee cups for specifically the way I drink it. We make a 'poor man's cappuccino' at home, stovetop espresso ('moka pot'), and milk foamed up in a french press. These cups take it to the next level. In the cupboard I stack two vertically (sole to sole) so you can have two cups in the footprint of one. Food safe, dishwasher proof, microwave friendly. Life is for living, not hand washing dishes. Actual item shipped may differ slightly as each is individually handmade. This is for two cups.

Gorgeous Cups, Beautiful Design and Craftsmanship
These cups are quite probably THE most awesome drink ware I have ever seen and used! Sure, they are more expensive than most of the mass produced, imported mugs you will find on Amazon but the craftsmanship and quality are worth it! To be honest, I will be drinking more wine than coffee out of these gorgeous cups but they will be my go-to for all my beverages (which honestly, is mostly wine.) Also, the bottoms of the cups are in the same glazed pattern so every time my husband takes a drink of his coffee (ahem, wine), it is just another reminder of what a great purchase I made. They are heavy weight, a gorgeous blue color that coordinates beautifully with both white and red wines and are a perfect size to hold for an entire evening. Or morning. Mostly evenings. I also guarantee I will buy more products from skaye ceramics. As the artist says, they are ceramic-infused joy!

So Nice!
I felt like these were pricy, but after receiving them and drinking coffee from them I'm very impressed. Nice quality, the touch factor is worth the price so smooth and great weight. I feel very posh drinking from these. So impressed I bought two larger ones for the road, whenever that will be.

More than a coffee cup!
We have 4 of these "cappuccino" cups, but have never used them for coffee (we use SKaye's Swirl Travel Cups for coffee). These are our go to cocktail glasses for everything from frozen drinks to an occasional glass of wine in the garden when I want something sturdier and less breakable than a wine glass. These are used regularly in our household and while we use these for cold beverages I love that this product is great for both hot and cold and is beautiful to boot! Also the texture of the porcelain is really amazing and these are super comfortable in your hand. We've had these for over two years and they've been in and out of the dishwasher and still look great. We're lucky enough to be able to purchase directly from SKaye Ceramics in Seattle and love everything we've purchased from dinnerware to coffee cups!
