Stupendous... THE true sequel to Whitesnake's '1987'
Great songwriting, ENORMOUS production, and three fantastic musicians. And since when was guitar maestro John Sykes such an amazing vocalist? No wonder Coverdale fired him from Whitesnake. Too talented!I really can't recommend this enough, this band should have been absolutely massive. Youtube the clip of them playing 'Billy' live on the Weird Al Yankovich show... you'll see what I mean.

Blue Wonder
One of the last great heavy rock albums of the '80s before Grunge came along and killed off music and bands like this (many deservedly, many not). Fantastic production, insane guitar playing and killer guitar tone, funky fretless bass, soaring vocals, big Bonhamesque drums, and epic Zeppy songs (especially Valley of the Kings and Ptolemy, which have that cool Kashmir vibe). Like the first Badlands album, an underrated classic of its time.

Shock in the face
Absolutely stunning album form John Sykes and co. I had never heard of this, although I am fan from Tygers,Whitesnake and the like: this is a shock, a massive album with perfect songs, screaming guitars, and greatvolcals from Sykes. Absolute must have for fans of this kind of music.

Solid album.
Ex-tigers of pang tang and off the back of the whitesnake 1987 album high and mighty things were expected of blue murder and on the whole this album ain't bad. Good songs and sound quality all the way. Just a pity the follow up is a disappointing effort.

If you like your 80's hair metal, classy, then I would give this a listen.
I heard a track on the radio and realised I'd forgotten how good this album was/is so, promptly got out the vinyl and played it (bit worse for wear) and so decided to invest in the digital format.

Blue Murder
What is there not to like about 1980's glam/hair rock. This album was recommended in Classic Rock magazine so I bought it and it is indeed a 'lost gem'.
