The coat is well made but basic - but I like the clean, simple lines.The wool is good quality and well-finished; all stitching is good and secure. The jacket comes folded and will benefit from a steaming before wearing.I would describe the weight as medium-heavy and there is a good thermal lining.I changed the cheap plastic buttons for some quality metal items for just £5 - this has made a huge difference as to how I feel about the coat.I'm 6'2 and fairly well built (36"waist, 46" chest) and the XXL only just fits me; I could not wear a jacket underneath. Go two sizes larger than you normally would and you should be OK. That said, the cut is just right for me; any bigger and the sleeves may be too long and the look too baggy.Would I recommend it? Yes - so long as you match your expectations. This is not as good as a High Street coat costing twice the price, but it's more than good enough and very good value in my opinion.

Coat arrived folded and creased which was disappointing . Material is soft, felty and looks ok, much better than I expected for the price and arrives with a little tag that explains " your coat will arrive creased" and the simple steps to remedy this, I thought a trip to a dry cleaners and the expense of steaming it but a hot iron an a damp cloth and ten minutes later all creases gone and I have very warm (has a padded lining) classy and super cheap coat. And fit too, I'm 38" and medium is perfect Really pleased with speed of delivery and quality for the money. Great coat

Bought for my16 year old son and it transformed him into a smart respectable young man! Actually says 80% wool on the label. Kind of shocked it's such good quality. Very soft material and warm quilting inside. He says it's soooo comfy and it has a flattering cut too. It makes his shoulders look wider and his waist slim. Bought so he can be smart and respectful at a funeral, but he wants to wear it all the time as it's a good winter coat. Looks good with a hoodie too. Needed an iron though.

Fantastic coat delivered quickly. The fit is great lovely and warm. Not creased when arrived and I wore it the next day.

The coat is absolutely gorgeous and warm. Nice heavy coat that keeps the wind out. Only bug is that the size was not broad enough and I had to send it back for a larger size.

Good value for money but either the wrong size labelled and sent or they fit them on children. Way too small for an adult human of the size requested.

Despite double check on size table and taking care to ensure comfortable outerwear size to fit over a jacket, this coat was way to slim fitting to even get close to closing in its own. Also, the sleeves are cut and tailored too slim to accept the sleeve of a jacket.

I ordered this in XL, which I do for most of my clothes (I can sometimes squeeze into L's though) and found it was a bit tight around the waist, and the arms felt especially tight. Still usable, but a little tight and a bit short compared to the rest of it.Quality seems decent, it certainly has a nice weight to it and feels nice to the tough. It also felt quite warm for the brief time I had it on, so hopefully it'll be just as useful when out and about.
