I like to use these for my rabbit and his tiny tiny nails.it seems to clip them very quickly it doesn't make a loud noise and because it's sharp it cuts quickly and my rabbit doesn't freak the hell out and scratch me and my whole family so we're bleeding and calling an ambulance

I rarely write reviews, only when I truly appreciate an item, or if a product is all disappointing. While the idea of these scissors preventing you from cutting the nailbed of your pey is not as simple as advertised - the scissors themselves are still excellent. Cutting from all sides of a circle definitely makes it a more gentle experience for your pet, preventing my two dogs from getting skittish and pulling away as they typically would. The cutting is also silent which also helps.In order for these to work as advertised: "Cut the tip not the quick", you could only pick the size of scissors that is too small to cut enough, especially since some nails are thicker, cutting only the very tip on half or all the nails. That said, I still gladly give them 5 STARS for making it scissors as opposed to clippers, and for the handling/contr and quality of the cut. I highly recommend it for anxious dogs!Kudos to this idea of finally making scissors with an honest effort to make clipping safer and less stressful on our furry friends!

I bought these in a smaller size thinking they would work for all 3 of my dogs (1 pure bread Yorkie weighing 4 lb and 2 Yorkie Bichon Frese weighing 10-12lb each) the smaller size would only cut the tip of my Yorkie bichon Freses’ nails. It would cut my purebreads’ just fine. So I bought the bigger size up for the bigger dogs.. and they still don’t fit the size chart/recommendation for the the most recent pair is 20-40 lb. Again my dogs at their max weight is 12 lb… these clipper should work for their nails and they don’t. I refuse to purchase another 3rd pair. These do however work very well my dogs aren’t scared of them they are quiet and cut clean.In the pictures it looks like the nail fits in the opening but it doesn’t it is as far down on to the nail that it will go. And there is nothing for the clippers to trim.

I ordered 3 different sizes to get the correct fit for my Chihuahuas. The seller allowed me to return the ones that didn't fit. The first time we used them they worked great and very safe. Everyone was happy. My pups weren't freaked out for the second trimming. Unfortunately the little black cylinder came out allowing the clippers to open too wide causing the spring to fall out, nothing is holding it in besides pressure. It took me a long time to find that tiny black cylinder but once I did and reinstalled it it just keeps falling out and nobody has that kind of time to search for such a tiny piece. I really love them so the seller has agreed to send me another one. I really hope the next one doesn't break as well.

I bought the Medium Clippers at first, way too small for my medium (35 pounds) labradoodle. His nails are thick. So then I bought the XLarge Pair… still too small, sigh. The spring also pops out when you use them so unless you are going to glue it in then adjusting the clippers back becomes tricky. Doable but not ideal.

My dog was never terrible about getting her nails cut but it took forever because I was afraid to cut too low and she’d get antsy waiting for me to let go of each paw. This takes less than a minute now. She lays in my lap sleeping when I cut them because it doesn’t bother her that we’re doing it. I love it and will never cut her nails any other way.

My dog is not afraid of these clippers, and they work well. Customer service was great when we had to change out the sizes because we went by the sizing info instead of getting the card initially. Get the card! Our dog is a mix, and her nails are all slightly different sizes. Buying just one was the cheapest way to go, but it means sometimes it doesn't cut as much as we hoped and sometimes cuts a bit too much. Practice helps. Be careful. The spring appears to be the first part to break. We glued it back in when it fell out, and it's held so far.

I have been grooming my dogs for over 35 years and this nail clipper style is quite nice. Testing it on my Springerdoodle (43 pounds) has me needing to buy two - the XL I bought and a XXL - some nails need more room while some are just right. Sort of a pain but may be worth it in the end. I will have to order a second sometime and see if that frustrates me more or less than the current situation. Overall a well made product.

I recommend Zen clippers to ALL my puppy buyers and All my dog friends. So far all of the clippers have been excellent - EXCEPT this lime green LARGE 4mm size - which keep braking after the first few nails that are clippedWHY IS THE QUALITY SO POOR FOR JUST THIS ITEM ???

You would have to review the hole size as but I found it so easy to use.
