SwingAway Professional Softball Kit

The ball is no longer yellow with red seam. Bummer! It is now the Jug neon "green/yellow" color with no seams. My daughter really liked how the other one looked like a softball but it does still work the same. This is a great product! My daughter gets tons of hits in daily just by walking by it. :)

Instructions and assembly is relatively easy (but takes a little time). Kids get a lot more reps and see instant feedback than the hitting tee or the ball attached to the pole set up. Breakdown and set up is a snap. Kids are getting alot of use out of it and learning to hit the ball from variuos spots in the strike zone thanks to the home plate mat.

Baseball practice

Never got to use it because the swingaway was such a piece of junk it didn't matter whether there was a softball or baseball hooked up to it.

Of course, live Batting practice is always best, but when that's not available - the swingaway has come in very handy. You quickly learn how to keep your hands inside the ball, otherwise you get all tangled up in the strings! Great item..

This thing is a favorite at practices. Hard to set up however. It also is a large bulky tool to transport to practices. I bought the portable one.
