This bench is beautiful, I’m elderly I became very ill several years ago and had to get something to sit on in my shower. I got a plastic shower chair at that time, it worked but took up whole tub, no room to sit it outside of tub. took up tub was useable but hated the look.now I am feeling much better, Still need a bench from time to time in shower and eventually will need one full time.I LOVE THIS BENCH. It is beautiful in and out of shower small enough to sit beside tub and light enough to move in tub when needed., but big enough to sit on and shower.I love this because when I have company I don’t look like I’m elderly or handicapped. it just looks beautiful.THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS AMAZING, I had a small problem, called the company. Not only is it a woman owned company but their service was amazing. They instantly made everything right.This is one of my favorite purchases and say buy this !I’m looking forward to using this for many years ahead in my elderly life. FYI I have a small tub with a small bathroom it’s the perfect size and is beautiful, no complaints

When I renovated my cat's bathroom, I saw I needed a little more space for storage. An attractive shower stool fits the need & this one was the most attractive I saw, as well as being a good fit for the space. The first one had a damaged corner but was attractive, so I returned it for another. Worth the price & the effort.

Ordered knowing color may be an issue, hoping it was white and gray as pictured. However, the bench received had tones of yellow and brown, which doesn't fit in my decor. Otherwise, this is a great bench. No need to assemble, packed well, appears sturdy and well-made. I would keep if I could make the color work.

It looks fantastic in my bathroom. I do feel the need to note the reason I gave it a four star is the wood is a little bit rough. It doesn't catch on clothes or other fabrics but does not feel as smooth as the "regular" teak bench in my shower. The color is fabulous and I do understand that the texture is likely due to re purposing the materials that were used to create the bench. I do like the idea that my bench may have been a boat in it's previous life!

Other reviewers warned of a yellow tinge running thru the finish but the shape and style was nice enough so we took a chance that ours would be pristine or even grayish. It had horrible orange lacquer colored stains throughout. Still liking the style and sturdiness of it we painted the whole stool with Kilz. One coat, two coats, three coats of Kilz later it was still slightly stained. Two coats of white spray paint finally covered the discoloration.Now it looks lovely in our brand new bathroom with a one level walk in shower. The little shelf comes in handy for extra wash cloths, loofahs, nail brushes. Three stars because we had to do all that work.

Advertised picture is exactly what I was looking for to put in my recently finished marble tiled double shower. I saw one review and picture of a very yellow chair. I reluctantly ordered with fingers crossed. My chair came in not quite as white as advertised picture but very close. As the seller responded to one buyer there can be a slight yellow undertone. I will try and add a picture but my yellow undertone was very slight. Chair is very sturdy and well built. Pleasantly Surprised!!

The fact that it’s not already treated for water exposure when it arrives is a huge issue. Even after getting my own wood treatment and applying it(which is impossible to get through the tiny crevices), mold keeps returning even after a year. This is after constant weekly deep cleaning and wood treating/sanding every few months, the mold has stained it and keeps returning. We can also tell that the wood is not as nice quality as advertised. It looks like manufactured wood once u start sanding and treating it. For the amount of money I spent on this stool, this is ridiculous.

Great product and very very well made. It was so nice to just take it out of them box and use it! I can not complement enough the craftsmanship of the product. Best I have seen. Almost bought one at home goods but so glad I spent the money and upgraded! Comfortable, sturdy, beautiful color, doesn’t show water marks, easy to clean, just overall great product that I highly recommend!

This shower stool is a lovely addition to my ensuite. I have tried it in several spots and it looks good and is very functional. Very pleased with my purchase.
