Phone Home, Persephone! (Myth-O-Mania) Paperback – August 1, 2011

I got the entire series on my kindle after reading the first book. They are entertaining and put a fresh 'twist' on the myths. They can really teach you about greek myths, I hope more people read these stories, they are wonderful and worth your $ & time!:)

Was a great book. I was so hooked that I could not stop reading it. It is also short. If you are a really fast reader, you will probably be finished with the book in an hour or less. I begged my parents to let me finish it.

It's been a struggle getting my daughter to read but she has really taken to not only this book but the entire series. For the first time ever she says she can't wait to come home from school so she can read a book!

My 8yrs old boy and 10 yrs old girl LOVE THIS SERIE. They read one book per day, I was hoping they will have enough to read for the whole summer, but they were hooked to the book.

This is a great funny book. I want to be a teacher and will certainly read these books. It was easy for me to make good predictions . Others should read this series and this book is my favorite so far.

Grandson loves this author.

My daughter is trying to pass the barrier between reading beginner books to enjoying chapter books. This whole series has been great motivation and she has loved them all!

These are brilliant books. Funny and informative. My boys love them (age 5 and 8) and I’ve recommended them to my pupils (year 4). Shame they are not on Accelerated Reader.

Ich war vom ersten Teil der Reihe 'Have a hot time, Hades' ziemlich begeistert und hatte mi erhofft, dass die Fortsetzung mich genauso gut unterhalten würde. Leider wurde ich enttäuscht. Zwar war Hades' Charakter nach wie vor sehr gut entwickelt und es hat Spaß gemacht ihm zu folgen, allerdings konnte ich für die Protagonistin Persephone keinen positiven Gefühle entwickeln. Sie hat schlicht und ergreifend genervt. Sie war eine verwöhnte Prinzessin, die immer das bekommen musste, was sie haben wollte und das hat mich sehr gestört. Vielleicht bin ich aber auch mittlerweile einfach zu alt für derlei Bücher *lach*Fazit 3 Sterne. Ich hab den nächsten Teil 'Say cheese, Medusa' hier noch liegen; bin allerdings zur Zeit nicht motiviert das Buch zu lesen.
