Baby Bear Sees Blue

We love this little book! My one year old is learning her colors from reading it and my 3 year old is learning to read the story for herself. It’s definitely a fan favorite over here!

This book is requested nightly by my toddler. He crawls into bed and asks “can we read baby bear?” In his sweet sleepy voice and of course I say yes because this book is just adorable. He loves to point out all the little bugs and animals in the grass on a few pages, and even imitates smelling the strawberries. He had to bring something to preschool for show and tell and refused to bring this book because it’s so special to him that even his 3 year old self was worried it might get broken or dirty!

This books is very well written and has gorgeous illustrations. It’s absolutely my favorite book to read to read to my daughter. Definitely holds my baby’s attention even though she is below the recommended age. This is a must have!!

A little long since it covers so many colors, but worth it on the last pages. A mama bear explains to the baby bear what he is seeing, a reassuring theme of a loving mother. Gave it 4 stars because it just seemed a little long. Maybe I was just tired.......

I LOVE this book and its counterpart Baby Bear Counts One. My 17 month old daughter unfortunately has yet to catch on - I think she likes board books better, there aren't many regular books that she'll let me read for some reason. But the illustrations are amazing and I know someday she'll love it. I love all the little bugs and different things you can find. My one gripe with this book is the page "red". On all of the other pages, the color really pops out at you, you KNOW what color they are talking about without having to read it. But on the "red" page, the only red is tiny little strawberries at the bottom of the page. Most of the page is green with small amounts of other colors in the flowers and such. But, I get over it :-)

My 18month old pulls this one out daily. Not a top 5 or anything, but a top 10 for now. It's a sweet book.

I had to find some new bed time books to add to my son's collection and seeing as blue is my favorite color, I figured this would be a good book to add. I wasn't familiar with this book even though it was a called a classic. While it is kind of short and sweet like some of the other classic, storyboard book types, I feel like there is still something to be learned when reading the book. It covers the colors and gives my child the visualization of those colors. I prefer books that have a story, a meaning or something where they learn; even if it is a short book we read right before bed.Ultimately, I love this book now - both the content and the visualization.

My child loves that book, when I ask her to bring something to read, this one of her favorite. The art is beautiful, the story is sweet. Highly recommend!

Un bel libro (forse un cartonato perde come disegni ma la versione copertina rigida è molto caro): la giornata di un orsetto che impara i colori delle cose che vede (la luce gialla, la quercia verde, l’uccello blu...). Interessante per i bimbi piccoli che imparano i colori e le azioni

Lovely way to introduce colours to a child

絵がとても綺麗です。小熊がいろんな色を見つけて行く話です。baby bear sees …と繰り返しの文章があります。繰り返し部分以外は少し読むのが難しいところもありますが、ちゃんとストーリーになっているので、大人も読んでて楽しいです。単純に色を覚えるためのストーリー性のない絵本ではないです。3歳以下だとあまりピンとこないかもしれません。良い絵本だと思います。
