Mammut Helmet Holder Pro

Not sure what some folks are saying about it being too small for a normal sized helmet. One just has to stretch the fabric over one's helmet. Seems pretty obvious to me. Ya got to pull on the sides of the zipper to pull the two halves of the cover together to get it to zip up...but after a few of these operations, it gets much easier to zip up over one's helmet.The only down side for me is the attachment cords take a bit of manipulation to get them to work with a Dakine touring backpack....the attachment points don't line up exactly.. but I figure this is more to do with the pack I have than anything else.

Does not fit a size M Smith Variance ski helmet. You can zip it closed - but barely, with considerable effort. Would never want to do deal with this in blowing snow, with cold hands. Also, may be a tad heavy for backcountry use. Too bad, because there is a nice cinching mechanism for the attachment cords, and would be nice to fully enclose helmet when it's snowing. Build quality seems very good, and would probably work very well for a climbing helmet, and road biking helmet (does not fit mtn helmet w/ visor - I tried).

Great build quality, but too small for a ski helmet. I was unable to zip it up with my helmet inside.Cinching mechanism is nice, attachment cords are sturdy elastic. There's a button to fold it smaller while not in use, which is a nice touch. Weight was 124g. (4.4oz)

I like the product, but unfortunately it’s a struggle to fit my size small Smith ski helmet into. If you have a larger size helmet this product might not work for you.

Nice for quick transitions not having to rummage thru my pack for my helmet. I can store extra stuff in the helmet as well. A cliff bar and dried fruit fits no problem

Well made product. Unfortunately my Smith ski helmet size large does not come close to fitting in this case.

I just wanted to provide a size reference. This helmet holder ("Mammut Helmet Holder Pro") fits my "size M/L" Petzl Boreo mountaineering/rock climbing/caving helmet perfectly, as if custom designed for it. And this helmet is 10 1/4" in length, 8 1/16" in width and about 6 1/8" in height by my measurements. The side panels are made of slightly stretchy fabric so something a little larger could still fit in it. But much larger helmets, such as most ski helmets and motorcycle helmets, would not.

Seems like a well made product but it is too small to fit my snowboard helmet. I was very disappointed that I could not use it for its intended use. It would fit a mountain bike helmet better. I feel the description was misleading.

The Helmet Holder is simply too small for an adult cycle helmet. The size description is simply incorrect!

die Hülse lässt dich super an einen Rucksack hängen. Leider gibt es keine Größenangabe für den Helm.Ein Standard Ski Helm Größe L passt nicht rein. Die Hülse ist vielmehr nur für Kletterhelme geeignet.
