I like these grips for their color and texture. The thread that runs through the rubber is not as abrasive as I had experienced with cheaper grips. But it still does help with the grip quality. When the tape is installed correctly it overlaps very slightly on the bottom that creates a kind of seam which can be felt through the grips where I intuitively place my finger crease in my grip. These are durable enough but after 2-3 years of play my clubs were slipping out of my hands on hot, humid days from sweat and perhaps some sunscreen residue.The installation was pretty simple. No more paying to have my grips installed. And, as a bonus, I get to align my club face the way I like it and not the way some kid working in a golf shop decides. Plus, there is the cost savings and I have an affinity for not spending more money than is necessary. You need to be careful that all of the chevrons and alignment marks are perfectly aligned on top. But that was no big deal. I bought the standard width because some website told me that for my hand size that is what I am supposed to do. But next time I think I might experiment with the next size wider.

I always had the ability to bomb driver, but never the consistency. I’d spray so many balls 100 yards right, and that immediately stopped when another former baseball player suggested I try the jumbo on my driver. It feels familiar in the hands to a lifetime of swinging a baseball bat, but I have never hit driver this well in my life. And now 3W and 3H Hybrid as I’ve matched those up too. The ONLY club in the bag I can see this grip potentially not improving, is your wedges solely when you need to get wristy with a shot and throw the club head. Without question every full shot will become far more consistent, with much better contact, throughout the bag

If you want a jumbo grip, this is the one. Good when wet. Soft but grippy. Get the install kit with a hook blade. Old ones cut right off. Easy to get the new ones on. Don't need a vice.

My neighborhood postal boxes were broken into and the seller J &M Golf Inc. was great about contacting the post office and refunding my money as they were now currently out of stock of these grips. They got back to me quickly via Amazon messages and never left me hanging. Ted is great and I can't thank him enough for helping me out in a bad situation.I have used Golf Pride grips for years you can't go wrong This was a good price and they last longer than other grips I have tried.My advise to those who say they are hard to put on the shaft is, your are using the wrong tape activator. The activators they sell now are a little more than water if you as me. I used it several times I thought I was going to break my shaft trying to push the grips on. Once I tried a little paint thinner it slid on like a hot knife thru butter. Be sure to do this outside and the smell will go away once the grips are dry.
