Had the need of this a couple of days ago. Cut through a 6" tree in a matter of minutes. Very easy to use and effective.

ever notice how the first thing many 'nature lovers' do is go out into nature and ruin it by raising a racket and generally mucking things up? this saw doesn't do that. except for the continual shower of wood bits when used from below this is a great saw, when used while standing or perched above that becomes a non-issue. cutting teeth are very sharp and show no sign of slowing down after dispatching about 50 limbs from four to nine inches across. as with most hand tools this operates almost silently and provides a little exercise in the process, actually saw wild life scampering around while I was tidying up the trees around the yard. it's so nice to come in from jacking lumber without a ringing in the ears; I like that bit.

It is built solid and seems like it will last, but it does not cut very well. Too few teeth and not really that strong. It is fine for what it is, but a travel saw or other small blade would work much better and safer than this item. Wood to large takes all your energy to cut one piece and wood too small snaps whipping the blade around dangerously.

A great tool in a small package!!

I added 25 ft. of 3/8 rope to each end and used it to cut down some branches that would have been much too high to reach otherwise. I just wish it had twice as many teeth, then it would have cut faster.
