I bought a truck with these already installed and I'd never owned anything with them. Usually I consider these kinds of things wasted money, but these had function beyond my first impression. So I bought a set to put on my Tacoma and I really like them. I don't have to worry about leaving the window cracked if it's raining and they help to channel the wind less harshly at highway speeds. I gotta say they look good too.

I was skeptical about buying a air vent in channel. I heard several people say they come loose after a period of time. So I took my time and did what directions said. I kept the window closed for 48 hours, this was double what directions said and they are staying nice and tight. Now windows go up and down and fit well.This application is on a 2008Tacoma.

Easy to install

I like the In-Channel option, I'd think that would adhere longer/better than a surface mount product. I realized after I bought my 2007 Tacoma the silver trim around the grill was an AVS, which looks sharp. I like the subtle AVS logo on the Ventvisor.The trouble I had was on the driver's side, the window would hit the plastic on the bottom going up. It was completely flush and adhered, but I ended up cutting the piece off that was interfering. The modification can't be seen from the outside. Knowing that, I did the same for the passenger side. But the window ended up hitting the far right top piece, so I trimmed that as well.Overall, still glad I bought the product which was at a good price IMO. When parking in the summer, I like to leave the windows open about an inch. I wasn't doing that on some days when rain was a possibility. I have another older truck that had Ventvisors - once you have them it's a desirable option.Not related to the product, but an Amazon question - can instructions be left for delivery as to where to leave it? This was fine, but delivered to a door I don't normally use. No way the driver would assume otherwise. Good thing there was a photo with the delivery confirmation showing the spot.

Nice looking inexpensive mod that is Super Easy to install! The deflectors are good quality. They have a low profile look to them that is really sharp. I used the advise I read in another review and ditched the alcohol pads the deflectors came with and used my own rubbing alcohol and paper towels to clean the grove for the tape. All in all installed in just about 10 minutes. I'm happy with the look. Great buy. Do it if you're on the fence. You'll be happy you did!

Great fit and easy to install. Much better than the stick on ones I had before.

Received the Ventvisor and packaging showed correct part number (192706). Visors in package had ridge with 2-sided tape running all the way from bottom corner of leading end to bottom corner of rear end. Picture on this site and AVS site shows leading end has a larger untaped tab that is separate from the main ridge. Instructions clearly describe installation involves inserting the leading tab OUTSIDE of the channel and the rest of the taped ridge INSIDE of the channel. This is impossible with the Ventvisors I received. The only way to install is to place entire ridge INSIDE of the channel. This causes window to hit bottom of leading end as it is coming up, especially passenger side (not sure why driver side works better). Most reviews state that no problems were experienced with window clearing bottom of visor. So, I installed visors and left windows up for ~48 hours. This helped and both windows now clear the visors when coming up. Will update this review if things go bad. Other than this, they look great and function really well.UPDATE - Well, it's been 2 months and no problems. The window hitting the bottom of the visor as it is coming up has corrected itself over time. As I mentioned previously, they look great and function very well. I'm changing my rating from 3 to 5 stars. Very satisfied with these visors.

Perfect fit et bonne qualiter de produit

Good product. I put these on Toyota Tacoma and they look like the Toyota branded ones on my Rav, although these fit in the channel and the others are mounted externally. The fit is exact and tight. These look nice but after having them on the Rav I wanted them for their practicality, especially wanting the window down a bit for our (when left briefly in suitable conditions).

Easy to install. Check to make sure it does not interfere with the window closing to the top. It may catch the glass as it goes up and sends it back down. File the edge of the front lip smooth before the install.

Driver side came broken at the front edge with the 3M tape on it. No big deal as it is tucked in and not noticeable. 24hrs of windows up is so important. Love the look and fit.
