Bought these as a gift for women in my bible study group. I was very please with this purchase until I took them out and one was shattered. Also the wicks were very hard to get in. I just wanted the wicks in for appearance sake not intending to burn them but had to put glue on my fingers and taper one end, let it dry so it would go in.

I purchased these lamps for gifts for my grandchildren to remind them of the story of the wise and foolish virgins and how important it is for them to be prepared with oil in "their lamps" when the bride groom comes. I'm grateful that each lamp came in its own little box. All of the lamps but one came with a wick. I'm not sure that these will ever be lit so sealing them probably won't be necessary. None of the lamps were cracked or broken. I'm not sure why but each of them has a dense patch of black speckles at the tip near the hole for the wick. I'm very pleased with the lamps. They look better than anything that I found in my local stores and at a much better price.

I purchased these as Hanukkah gifts for my family. They were a hit! Everyone loved them.As far as the lamp goes, it is well made, but you can tell that it is a replica, which is to be expected. As in the description, the lamp does seep oil so a small dish under it works great. Over all, I’m super impressed and will most likely buy more in the future!

The lamps arrived in a timely fashion and were protected well in the shipping. I liked the individual boxes they came in because I could disperse them and each owner could still keep it protected.These were just what I was looking for. they will be used for an evening program with a group of young women this week as we use the parable of the wise and foolish virgins for instruction. After reading previous reviews, I sealed them with a spray on sealer before trying them. I used Vegetable oil to burn. It did not burn as hot as lamp oil and was less expensive than olive oil. It did not take much to saturate the wick. The oil has not leaked through. Hopefully all will go well. the event they will be used at is this week.

Very nice little oil lamps. Thought they would come with wicks since the single lamps sold on the vendors web site seem to include a wick, but these do not. No big deal since I can probably find wicks easy enough, but would have been nice had a wick been included. Also, very well packed and not one broken. Be careful though, as each lamp is loose in the package with just packing peanuts separating them. We almost dumped a few into the waste as we were unpacking.
