A delicious cake with a light blueberry flavor accent. I make various types of cakes frequently, and my best friend said this was her all-time favorite flavor of cake.A few tips to help spruce up the cake mix: use milk instead of water for the liquid ingredient, use a little extra oil than what is called for on the package, add a few drops of neon blue food coloring for added pop of color, and just a hint of blueberry flavoring/extract to accentuate the delicate taste. Looks fabulous with a classic white frosting. Enjoy.

I, like many others, purchased this for the novelty. It was good, but not professional quality good.Pros: Cake was nice and fluffy. It had a good flavor; no weird chemically under-taste you get from some other box mixes.Cons: The color was nowhere near what it looks like on the box. It was more of a robin's egg/Tiffany blue color. It tasted nothing like blueberry, although there was a very subtle, almost ephemeral, taste of blue raspberry.For those having trouble removing the cake from the pan: When greasing the pan use a solid fat, like vegetable shortening or butter, flour, then pop in the fridge while you make your batter.

This was the worst cake I've ever made and I'm a baker! I thought it would be fun to try something new, because I've never made a blueberry cake and I remember seeing Duff's show from back in the day, so I grabbed a box in case I needed something quick. DO NOT BUY!! Honestly, take the time and make one yourself. If you've never made a cake before, you would still be able to make something better. I liberally sprayed my pans as always and when I went to take the cake out of the pan, 3/4 of the bottom of the cake was still in the pan. The entire top of the cake deflated and when I went to gently move it, to see if I could salvage it, a huge crack appeared in the middle and it fell apart. I was shocked, as I've never had that happen before. I was angry this was even a "premium" cake mix. Couldn't taste any blueberry, the dye packet was so small and hard to get open I had dye all over my hands, and the texture of the cake was awful. It was way too airy and fluffy, hardly had any taste. Everything about this cake was just plain wrong. Calling this bakery quality is a joke. This bakery would be out of business. Take a look at all the horrible reviews for the other flavors, such as the tye dye. The good reviews were based on the novelty of the color. Bad brand! Buy a Duncan Hines or Betty Crocker and you'll have a way better product at an affordable price! I hope these get taken of the shelves!!!

This is a good mix. Very moist after baking. The flavor and color is in a separate liquid pouch. I could not taste any hint of blueberry.

This cake mix made delicious cupcakes. I will buy again. The cake tasted much better than other cake mixes I have tried.

First, be aware that this cake mix is only supposed to make an 8 inch cake. However, the amount of batter barely made 2 8-inch layers. Normally I cut the dome off the top of a cake layer to even it out, but if I did that with these skimpy layers there wouldn't have been any cake left. I didn't have a problem with it sticking to the pan, but once it was cut into it disintegrated. I couldn't cut a piece and have it hold its shape. I liked the taste, but my kids didn't. I will never purchase any products in this line again.

So disappointed because the mix did not come with the color/flavor pouch. Why sell it as a blue suede cake with out the coloring? My kids were so disappointed.
