Cloud Nine Dressing Brush

I own a boar and nylon bristle popular mason pearson and I have been looking around for a less expensive alternative to take on trips and have as a backup. I have tried denman, spornette, among others and while they were all okay they simply didn't go through my hair or distribute oil the way my mason pearson does.Cloud Nine makes professional hairdresser quality products and I had high hopes for this brush. The brush is about the same size as the mason pearson junior and has a heavy wood handle. The boar bristles are of great quality and unlike cheaper ones the do not bend or break off but retain their stiff form which helps to penetrate and distribute oils throughout the hair. The nylon bristles also extended farther than the boar bristles as they should and reach your scalp. The brush is very heavy duty and of high quality.I use the cleaning brush that came with my mason pearson to clean this and it helps a lot (you can purchase one here on amazon). The only criticism I have is that I believe the rows are too close together and it makes it more difficult to run the brush through your hair and that it would be best to either remove a row or make the paddle larger to space them out.A high quality brush that has a high price largely due to it being a brand name and it's an alternative to mason pearson but it is NOT a budget brush.
