Excellent upgrade for NA Miata!
Installed these H4 conversion housing with Hella H4 performance bulbs and it is a night and day difference, pun intended! Very satisfied with the upgrade in light output for the price, while maintaining stock appearance.

Big Improvement.
The face was flatter than I expected and they came without bulbs. But after installing quality bulbs, my 40 years old car has fantastic illumination. It’s much safer and enjoyable to drive now.

Glass lens, replaces 6024 sealed beam
I put these head lamp fixtures in a 1977 k2 Suburban with 7" round head lamps, normally a 6024 sealed beam. They fit well, where the rim clamp sits is just a little wider than original. The origination tabs lined up and no head lamp aiming was needed since my where aimed well before lamp update. used the Hella H4P50 bulbs, low and high beam in 1 bulb.In order to use the nice rubber seal that comes with Hella E code fixtures I need to change the bulb socket. Pictured here from the wide clover shaped to the simple square 3 terminal. These lights are only a small improvement over halogen sealed beam bulbs. Once the the fixtures are up dated, the Hella H4P5 bulbs were less then $5 ea, A Sylvanna H6024 is $19.00-25.00. There is a huge H4 bulb selection to choose from.Did I mention the Lens is Glass not plastic that dull and fade

Impressive!
Installed into a 1970's Volkswagen bus. Fitment was easy and the low profile gave a super clean look. With LED H4 bulbs the beam pattern filled the road very well. The cutoff doesn't blind opposing drivers and there was little light bleed.

Excellent value!
These are great upgrades from factory sealed beams. They have a sharp cut off and decently wide hot spot on low. High is a little lacking as the hotspot is tiny with lots of flood. However, 98% of the time you drive with low beams on, and the other 2% of the time your headlights aren’t competing with the glare of oncoming drivers, so you don’t need as much light as you think. These are made in Romania, and don’t have quite as good of a pattern as the vision plus German made Hella H4 housings. But for the price they are great. Pictured on the driver side is my factory sealed beam (halogen), and passenger side is this Hella. Notice the sharper cut off and reduced glare to oncoming traffic as demonstrated by my head on pic. Also worth noting, these are glass lenses, and will never fade or turn yellow like every LED headlight that one might consider over these. If you want to buy new headlights every three years, choose *good LEDs. If you don’t want to worry about your headlights fading or turning yellow, buy these.

Great lights
The description is a little vague, so I'll add few missing bits. The light comes without a bulb, so you have to purchase H4 bulb separately (Hella H83140101, for example). It is still cheaper to purchase the light and bulb separately then buying a whole kit. It also does not have a parking (city) light. The shape of the beam is correct for the left hand drive cars (steering wheel on the left) and right hand traffic (driving on the right side of the road). They are E-codes and are not DOT certified, so "only for off-road use" in US. Yeah, right... :) These lights are not made in Germany, but are made in Romania. Do not know that is good or bad, just stating a fact. The quality of the lights seems OK. Some sellers here on amazon are selling the lights for the cars driven on the "wrong" side of the road (UK, Australia, Japan, etc), you can verify the features and compatibility by visiting Hella online catalog and searching for the part number.

Real glass
Real glass, seems to be decent quality, pattern appears sharp but the cutoff looks upside down (?). Had to cut the center of the rear rubber piece to fit over the LED bulbs I got, stock H4 probably would have been fine. Best part is I got to tell my kids that my car is Hella lit now LOL!! Ah, dad jokes.

Not for USA
These are left side of the road lights; UK, Kenya, Australia, Japan.Dangerous and probably illegal in US.
