The absolute best electricians tool pouch your money can buy. period.
The absolute best electrician's tool pouch on the market!!! I love this tool pouch. I was a diy-er for nearly a decade. I read Family Handyman religiously and remembered an article about being efficient. They said the key was a high quality tool belt. You have all your tools at your side. You get your work done quickly and you look professional. I went to Lowe's and Home Depot and had gone through a number of tool pouches. Some were gaping wide, some were too small some lacked tool loops. Some were too shallow where all my tools would fall out. Well recently I got a job as an apprentice electrician (yeah, I'm an electrician ;) ) and my foreman said I had to buy a "real" electricians tool pouch. He, with 40 year, said you have to have a place for each tool, lineman pliers, diagonal cutters, needle nose pliers, various fastening screw drivers, like 12 tools at least.I ran to the "Home Depot" and bought a sweet looking electrician's tool pouch. "Dead On" electrician's tool pouch. What a piece of junk! first of all, when it had all my tools it in, it was so gaping wide some of my tools would fall out. Experienced electricians would laugh at me. It was shallow again causing tools to fall out. It had a rubber bottom to ensure that it stayed standing up when put down on the ground when used as a carry along pouch. Well the problem was that the rubber bottom rubbed against my leg like a rasp and I got a rash. It was horrible.I decided to research the heck out of this electricians pouch. Sweet sweet Nirvana!!! My deep love and devotion to Custom Leathercraft had begun. This is the 'near' perfect electrician's pouch. First of all it is deep. Not a single tool has fallen out. I have hundreds and hundreds of dollars of tools in my tool rig. Klein Lineman 36 dollars, Klein Needle Nose Pliers 35 dollars, Irwin power slot diagonal cutters, 35 dollars, etc. The bag is deep is slim. When you climbing ladders or walking through tight spaces your tools don't get caught, or slightly get caught. When you do take off your tool belt. you can carry around the pouch like a tool bag since it has a nice little handle. It's slim and stays tight against your leg. The fabric is solid I can see it lasting for years and years to come. The people who designed this tool pouch really analyzed and trouble shout the design. This is craftsmanship at its best. They don't just say, let's build a bag, put tool slots in it and a pretty logo and ship it out. These people have done extensive research and have mastered the design. I personally would like to meet the people who designed this bag. I'd tell them great great job.Still not perfect...Why don't you put a couple of hooks on the top so you could attach suspenders directly to the tool pouch rather than the belt?Other than that, I feel like Tony Stark as Iron Man when I wear this tool pouch. POWERFUL. I liked it so much I bought 4 other Custom Leathercraft pouches and I love them all. Also bought the custom leather craft work gloves.

I really like this bag. Its the third one I might get to wear out. Inspect it before using!!
The handle fell out. It didn't get stitched on one side. I'm very upset on this account. I like carrying it sometimes, instead of putting it around my waist.

I would like to see some smaller loops inside for small tools ...
Bought this as a replacement for the Ergodyne 5548 that came apart the first month. Both are made of heavy weight material, but this one has more screwdriver pockets and clips. I would like to see some smaller loops inside for small tools like voltage sensors, small (size 0, 1) screwdrivers, pencils, pens, Sharpies, skinning knife (I like to store mine open and ready to use) and loops to hold nut drivers. I'll let you know in 10 years what I really think (yes, it should stand up that long!)

Great Pouch for an Electrician.
This is the third time I’ve purchased this particular pouch, (And most likely will again). I work as an electrician, so I am definitely hard on my tools and such. The life of this product for me averages 2+ years.Pros: durable overall (see exception below), provides great placement for my hand tools.Neutral: I don’t use the carrier loop on the top (kinda in the way at times) snd I actually cut off the tape holder/ and clip (It get stucks on stuff, plus that's not where I usually put my tape anyway). As I said above, I’m hard on my equipment. from my first purchse to the second the larger 2-compartment area on the pouch got bigger. Room for more tools is a plus, but I liked it smaller. Tends to hang away from your body a lot moreCons: The seam at the bottom on the front pouches will eventually fail, and tools will start coming out (this is the ONLY reason I purchased a new one)

Great for the tradesman but great for home too
I'm an industrial electrician and my tool bag was starting to get way too heavy to carry around for trouble shooting. I've had my share of tool pouches before but none of them ever really seem to hit the spot. Either they are too shallow and my longer tools end up sticking out almost sideways, or they are too small and I can only cram a few basic tools in there. This pouch is the best by far in regards to depth and pockets, and it also has a measuring tape mount, and a electrical tape chain.Just to give you an idea, here's what I normally carry in this:-Phillips screw driver-1/4" flat tip long screw driver-3/8" tip hammering screw driver-11 in 1 screwdriver-Channel Lock 420 and 440-16' measuring tape-Electrical tape-Electricians scissors-3/8" and 7/16 nut drivers-Greenlee torpedo level-Greenlee mini bubble level (no dog)-Fluke T5-1000-Klein crimpers-6 inch needle nose pliers-Metric and standard allen hex sets-No contact voltage tester-Wire strippers-Cabinet screwdriverAlso try their tool bags, I prefer the synthetic to the leather but to each their own!

Everyday use is great..
I’m a electrician by trade, and I’m also a service tech going from job to job always jumping around. The size of this is perfect you can fit just the right amount of tools for the job with out killing your back for 8-10 hours carrying a heavy tool belt everyday like some of the other big sizes out there.. for what I use it for I’m very happy with it.. I wouldn’t get anything smaller then this for what I need it for.I hope this helps someone.

Durable bag and perfect for my cable technician needs.
I was issued this bag for work at a big cable company. The company gave me this and another one that is too big to fit on a tool belt for my liking. I carry a certain amount of tools that I use every day. That bags life came to a long-fighting end for I had to retire it due to how much use the 4 year bag has endured. I tried looking for the company that makes it to no avail. I finally see this bag, and it's the same bag but different maker CLC. I immediately bought it and it is the exact same bag but different brand. Regardless, this bag is awesome. Rain, cold, heat, humidity, etc.. it took it all. Awesome bag. Here's to wishing it'll last another 4 more years. Cheers.

Good
Larger than my old one but exact same layout. Previous one by same company lasted me three years of everyday use as an Electrician before my screwdrivers, which I keep inside the main pouch, poked a hole through it
