Great style...ink ran out in less than a month of use.
I love the style of this pen. It is comfortable to write with, and initially the ink quality is great. However, in less than a month of use the pen was out of ink. I replaced the ink with a Tornado refill I purchased at a local specialty office/art supply store. After just a couple of weeks use the replacement ink is also now running out. I love the pen's styling, however, their ink is awful. I am currently trying to find another company's refill that will fit with these pens, but am not having luck. I had planned on buying several of these pens for gifts, but unless I can find ink refills that fit and provide more than 1 month of writing, I will not be purchasing anymore Tornado pens. Just as a comparison I have a Waterman pen that I used for 6 months without needing a refill.

Really cool pen. I feel like it should come with a better ink cartridge. The color of the pen is pretty awsome in Kiwi. I would love to see one in a darker olive green since that's pretty trendy right now.

Ain't She a Beauty?
This pen is perfect!! It is exactly what I wanted. After reading some negative reviews I was a little weary, I am so glad I went ahead and bought it. Picking the color was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. :) I guess that means I'll have to get more. The rollarball is great. It's nice and smooth. It does run through the thin pages of journal. Need another with different ink!

Very good pen with a few cosmetic flaws.
Writes great, if that is your only criteria it is a five star pen. Grip isn't perfect, it doesn't readily slip but might do so occasionally. The twist top feature leaves the tip looking a little closer to the barrel than I'd like. Minor flaws in a very good pen.

A great pen! Feels awesome and the pictures do not do it justice. It really looks amazing in person. I liked mine so much I just gave one as a birthday gift. If you want something that looks cool and writes well, this is it. I always use a Uni-Ball 207 and I wanted something a little nicer, this was a good choice. It writes great, no skips, and good lines.I will definitely be getting another.

Very good pen
This is the third Retro 1951 Rollerball I've purchased; one for myself, another for my daughter and this one for my nephew's graduation! And he loves it!A 'pen nut...' this rollerball fits great in my pocket, it's unusual (not everyone has one) - and best of all - it's a great writing rollerball! Will likely not be the last one I purchase.Highly recommend this rollerball... for yourself or a great gift that's certain to be appreciated.
