Playful Chef 23 Piece Pink Apron Children's Baking Set

This is a very cute product. We purchased it as a Christmas gift for a four year old. She seemed to really be excited to bake with her grandmother over the holidays. The baking tools are of good quality and I would definitely think they are suitable for the kitchen (and possibly even the dishwasher) with no problems. The apron is a little "plastic-y" but other than that it's very nice.

I ordered this as a gift and was a little disappointed when it arrived. The price did not seem to match the quality of what I received. The book was only a few pages long and very flimsy. The cooking utensils also had a "cheap" quality to them and seemed to be lower quality than things I could get at the dollar store (And, I love the dollar store! I would have been better off going there and assembling my own cooking kit). The small size (child's size) of the tools were nice, but that is about it.I ended up returning this item. It just did not seem worth it and did not seem nice enough to give someone as a gift.

The tiny utensils are good for little hands but the apron was a super cheapie. Almost like it was made out of a plastic bag.

Well made; just right for little hands; mom loves it as well. Gave a different brand to my other grand-daughter and the apron was cheaply made.

My daughter simply love it she everything looks real, she can play with her own baking set while I'm cooking.

The baking set was a wonderful gift for my niece. The color coated cookbook to go along wtih the measuring cups was easy for her to understand and be very involved in the whole process.

I ordered this for my 3 yo because she LOVES to 'cook'. We had looked at several different cooking tool sets (for kids) and this was exactly what we needed. Price was good. Shipping was fast and they showed estimated delivery for 11 days, it only took 8. My daughter was looking forward to this every moment of those 8 days. My only complaint was the '100% cotton'. There is not one single fiber of cotton in any part of the apron. Not even the thread! It's a bit of a cheap nylon/plastickey material. This really should be changed in the description because it is false advertisement. I worry a bit that it could melt or catch fire and burn her. Seriously disappointed in the quality and description of this one item. All the rest was as described and work just fine. We had to cook immediately when the packag arrived. The 'cook book' was not a very good cookbook. Most of it I've already taught her how to make and there's only 5 recipes. Maybe 'curious chef' should stick to kitchen gadgets and tools and leave the 'textiles' to someone else. Cotton doesn't make a sound when you rub it against itself. The apron was wanted so badly by my daughter. She's disappointed as well.
