Comforting, provides a modicum of "privacy"
I bought these on Amazon.com 7 months ago. I have tried different things to combat the humiliating physical challenge of riding on an airplane. The u-shaped pillows are a design failure. These small Kuhi pillows are easy to carry around in your bag, and they deploy quickly. You can lean all the way back on your headrest. They do not squeeze your head, like some people have said. That's ridiculous. They are not loose or floppy, either. They simply sit at each side of your head and give you something to lean against. They are also a message to neighbors not to bother you because you intend on trying to get some sleep. I also bought a large eye mask and it works well with the little pillows. Eat a really good meal before you leave, and don't count on the airline food. Don't count on doing computer work on the airplane. Get up and walk around the plane a couple of times, but try to sleep or rest as much as possible. Oh, and most important, take some noise-cancelling earphones - they fit in your ear while leaning against the pillows - they work just fine to soften the noise, even without any music playing; I got these: [ http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00D429Y12/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&psc=1 ]

Unfortunately underwhelming
I picked up the Kuhi Comfort Cuddle Fur Travel Pillow after scouring reviews online for the best travel pillows. The pillow is fine -- it's not great, but it's better than the $5 - $10 ones you'll pick up at the airport. The pillow is, as pictured, essentially two smaller pillows connected by a soft strap in the back. To the best I understand, it hopes to support your head to either side by being relatively firm, while not pushing your neck forward by having the connecting strap thin.I tested this pillow out on a long haul flight to Delhi from Newark. I slept well, but it was likely the Ambien and whiskey and less so the pillow.Pros:+ Supports your head well. The pillows are a very well-done firmness that lets you slightly sink into it.+ The pillows are quite soft.+ Reasonably portable. Not a struggle to fit it into the bag.Cons:- The pillows were too small for me. I couldn't move my head around much; the surface to sleep on was just too limiting.- It was impossible for me to wear headphones with these. Overears are certainly not doable, and in-ears were compressed into my head pretty painfully, as the pillow keeps your ears in a vice with some small pressure.- The pillow does not stay in a comfortable place, nor am I quite sure if it has a sweet spot of being comfortable.- The pillow is not versatile. For example, I got lucky on another trip and got a bench of seats to myself, so I was able to lie down on them. This pillow could not be used; it only works in a sitting position.

Very comfortable and much better than any alternative on the market
Had an opportunity to use these on a long-haul flight from Los Angeles to Sydney (and return). I was very impressed with how soft end comfortable they were to use, especially thanks to the fact that unlike other travel pillows, these do not force you to tilt your head forward. They are also useful in a number of positions and configurations, that help you find the right sleeping position for your seating arrangement. The only downside I found was the distance between the two cushions (due to the length of the tether) was a bit small, which prevented me from having the cushions as far forward as I would have liked. But overall, these were very comfortable and much better than any alternative on the market.

A very excellent travel pillow!
I have tried different neck pillows, but this is by far the best that I’ve ever owned. The thing that I really like about this pillow is that, behind your neck there’s a small strap which holds the two individual pillows together, which for me really makes it much more comfortable. This way my head is not pushed away from the seat's headrest because there’s a thick cushion between my neck and the seat as would be the case with a regular neck pillow. The two cushions are comfortable and can be adjusted for the way in which you want to lay your head. Sometimes I even keep the pillow in the carrying case which is provided and sleep with it that way depending on the situation. If you’ve had issues with other neck pillows, where they just were not comfortable, then I would highly recommend you try this pillow. Sadly I left my last one on an airplane, and I spent a lot of time searching to find it again. It was well worth the search and I was so glad I was able to find it.

great for cats, terrible for humans
The product images of people comfortably using the Kuhi are completely misleading. The center piece that holds the two pillows together is made from solid (rather than stretchable) material and measures 3.5" in width. I get that neck sizes vary widely, but please, show me someone who's neck is 3.5" in diameter?!Based on the product I received I find it impossible that the marketing pictures were taken using the same product. Specifically the marketing pictures that show the female with the fur product model. She is comfortably wearing the pillow and her neck is clearly wider than 3.5".I don't even know what to say. One of my pictures shows the center strip bunched up a little, but the other one clearly shows that the width between the pillows truly doesn't extend beyond 3.5". That's just too small! The effect is that the pillows separate widely and thus don't provide any neck support, and only very little head support.I see a lot of 5-star reviews for this pillow and I just don't get it. This is a simple design, there is no way to use it wrong.Save yourself the $40 and the effort to return it. Alternatively get yourself a cat s/he will probably love playing with the furry version of this product.
