This book is great! It's a hoot, with the outrageous clothing, costumes, and makeup that Stephen wears. But it's also wonderfully loaded with brilliant colors and ideas for the fabulous and amazing shawls that Stephen creates. His eye for eclectic designs is truly awesome. There is definitely a Muse or two sitting softly on Stephen's shoulder, whispering in his ear. How else could he come up with such stunning shawls?The book is stuffed with inspiration for creating your own fab shawls, either by following Stephen's patterns, or following him over the edge for your own avant garde creations.Stephen West is rapidly becoming a fashion icon, and this wonderful book will definitely open eyes to his unique, quirky style of knitting.To date, I've made three of Stephen's shawl designs, and each one pushed my comfort level ever-so-slightly to allow me to knit up an amazing shawl. Stephen West continues to amaze me. The patterns are so unique and outstanding in their creativity. Mr. West is exceptionally talented. A true genius. Also the photography is so well done. I can't say enough good things about Stephen West and all of his knitting creations and numerous books. I'm hoping to acquire all of his books. I dream of being as creative a knitter as Stephen West. One can dream! 🤗

This book is beautifully photographed and the patterns are lovely. I gifted it to my mom so I am not sure how difficult the projects are

Love this book. The color play is awesome and inspirational. The pieces are of like construction but it's all about the use of color and drape.

At last I've found a copy of this book! The quintessential "West" handbook to shawls. The best of the best patterns. Not one that I don't want to make.

Amazing! Stephen West is the new, modern Kaffe Fassett (whom I still love in the knitting world!)! Stephen has amazing talent!
