I never knew how important the quality and size of a hoop was until I got one of these. I was finally able to hoop for longer than 5 seconds!

I’ve been hooping for 4 months now and I CANNOT get enough. This was my first (of many) hula hoops and it has lasted through all my drops, scrapes, bangs, and whatever other rough things I do. I love the weight (about 1 lb) and the look. The grip tape is amazing, as I am easily able to hop on my legs now. Without that tape, it wouldn’t be possible.This is a great starter on-body hoop for anyone wanting to try hula hooping for fitness or even to hoop for fun. This is a 3/4 inch PE hoop. I don’t recommend this for doing off-body tricks, as lighter hoops (polypro or hdpe) are best for that, unless, of course, you want to really tone your arms.

I was really skeptical reading other people's reviews, sure that hula hooping really wasn't going to make a difference in my fitness. I'm in pretty good shape, but I recently got a desk job, and was looking for some easy physical activity to do while watching tv at night, just to stay a bit more active. I figured this couldn't hurt, and it'd at least get me standing up instead of sitting or lying down. I've had it for a few weeks now, and I've been amazed at the difference. My mom, sister and I all use it, and have all noticed a difference in our stomach and legs. The hula hoop itself was easy to put together, and seems to be the perfect weight. I've read that heavier hula hoops are actually less of a workout because they require less effort to keep up, but I haven't had any trouble hula hooping with the lighter weight for an entire 30 minute tv show. It's a good size, not too big, but it is larger than a child's hula hoop, so make sure you have enough room to use it. I love this product so far, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who's looking to get a bit more active, or just wants a fun thing to do while watching tv.

I have gone from a couch potato to working out at least 3 days/week. I bought this to get me started since I do not want to get down on the floor for core exercises. I must say that this weighted hoop works the entire core from knees up to just below breast bone. I started off with only being able to do hoop for 10 secs (if that), now I am up to 2 mins or more before having to rest. I like to hoop between my circuit of squats, lunges, plies and upper arm workout. I am nearing 50yrs of age, this seems to be working for me, tightening/toning and cardio thrown in as well.

at least it seems to be to me, I don't have any experience any others.I bought this as a gift and she absolutely loves it. It seems heavy at first if all you have ever seen are the ones for kids from Walmart, but once you start using it you realize it isn't really. It was easy to snap together - it is a single piece, not two pieces. If it is cold out you'll need to let it warm up when you first put it together so it will take a completely round shape.This is a workout hoop, not a dancing hoop. It's too heavy for hula hoop dance stuff, but I bought it as a workout hoop so it is perfect. It is bigger around than I though it would be, you'll need some space to work this.

I love this thing. I think it's good quality. Definitely comparable to the ones I Have borrowed at hoopnotica classes. It was easy to put together. I'm not sure if I have bruises because it's hitting my hip bone (and spine!) or because I'm not doing it in the right place but it stays up so I think I'm doing okay. So I only did 4 stars because I'm not sure if there's a way for them to make it more padded but this is exactly what I thought it would be based on the ones I had used in class. I think it's silly that the shipping is so much and takes forever, would rather the shipping be lower and the cost of the hoop more since it's a mental thing.

I love this Hula Hoop! I use it for an hour everyday and I see a difference in my body! This hula hoop unlike others is weighted but doesn't leave me bruised. The only suggestion I cant stress enough is PLEASE follow the instructions! Don't pull it out if the boxs and click it together super fast. You need to let the hoop sit and bend it as instructed so it gets the correct circular shape. I know we all love trying out new items but your hula hoop will not be a perfect circle if you don't follow the instructions.

This hoop is amazing , super smooth and very well made. Perfectly balanced and the perfect size. Hooping is a great exercise for all ages, my daughters love it also. Myself, having several injuries, finds this a great way to strengthen the core and realign my spine , helps a lot with pain relief as well as it making me feel like a kid again. So fun. Just put on some music and enjoy this low impact , non jarring workout. If you're adventurous like my daughters you can try some tricks as well. Why not have fun while getting healthy.
