LutronMaestro Digital Switch, 8A Single Pole/Multi Location, MA-S8AM-WH, White

Great switches! I love the high tech look and feel of these. The simple push-button operation makes these really convenient for multi-gang receptacles; if you want all the lights on, swipe your finger across the switches and they're all on or off.Installation can be tricky if you don't have any electrical experience. The 2 hot wires DO need to be in a load/line position and a cheap hot wire detector will make life a lot easier. Also do yourself a favor and buy about 6" of white (neutral) wire to add to this switch as it is an active electronic device and requires a complete circuit in order to work.Overall, these are great and upgrade your switches to a level that makes people jealous. Definitely recommend this for new construction as old wiring and circuit loads may be tricky to install these in. Be sure to read the full instructions as these do only handle a specific amount of wattage running through it otherwise they will overheat. I have one circuit that the switch gets kinda warm after a few hours with 4 100 watt halogen bulbs connected to it (it says it can handle it, but any more and I wouldn't do it).I love these and have slowly replaced all my rocker switches with these. No issues!

This switch by itself is fine if you want a single pole, single location replacement. If you are looking to do multi-locations with it, you MUST buy the Lutron Companion switch, model MSC-AS-SW. A standard 3/4-way switch will NOT work with this.That being said, once I got myself squared away, this guy is working very well and looks very nice on the wall.

These Lutron switches are a genuinely great product.I have purchased 2 of these as "Used-Like New" and couldn't be happier with them. I'm currently using them for 2 fixtures with hue bulbs in them. Prior to owning these, we had normal Leviton paddle switches installed. The problem was that my wife always turned off the switches out of habit which undermined the use of Philips Hue bulbs. Installing these makes it less of a temptation to turn the switch off when walking by. Additionally, the switches look great and operate as expected.If I wasn't planning to use Lutron Caseta HomeKit switches for most other places, I'd definitely be using these.If you're looking for a solution to make sure your Hue bulbs are functional, I highly recommend this as an option. Even if you aren't using connected bulbs, these are a great addition to anyone's home.Best Regards,Phil

I needed a fan switch for my exhaust fans, and both Menard's and Home Depot do not carry this switch in stock. I had to contact Lutron customer support chat, and they pointed me to this switch to go with all of my other Maestro switches. This is a great switch for on/off only and keeps the look the same as the other Maestros. These are great switches that look modern and upscale with their capabilities and nighlights. I recommend these switches especially in conjunction with their others. The price is also right on point compared to what I pay at home improvement stores for the other switches.

The product if fine. It says this switch will run fluorescent lights. To a degree yes if you have a neutral wire. I would suggest you contact Lutron tech support at 800-523-9466 to verify this switch works for your application. They provided me with a different switch part number that should work.

Really enjoy the digital light switch. Very nicely built and good feel. I downgraded a bit because it requires the use of the neutral wire. Other than that small connection nitpik, it's a great digital light switch.

Bought these for a client. They are super easy to install as long as you pull the FASS switch on the bottom you’ll be good to hook them up without blowing them up.

Bought it to match a Maestro motion sensor/dimmer in a 2-gang setup. Warehouse deals brought it down to a price I could stomach for single-pole operation. I like the push-button operation, it looks nice, and I'm completely satisfied with its performance, but it's a few dollars too expensive for five stars.

Just like most Lutron products. Simple, elegent. It will add some style to your home (especially if you use the Claro wall plates). But also like most Lutron products, its not cheap.

Working well for a bunch of GU10 LED bulbs. Needs a neutral wire.
