31" Gladius Roman Sword Gladiator

This sword makes a great practice or display piece. I had bought two different kinds of the same sword (Each with different finishes) for Christmas gifts. To my surprise, this particular one was finer etching and sharper in point. I would recommend if you use this for practice to dull down the blade against a whet stone. The weight distribution was pretty close to accurate for this weapon.I will mention the one downside. The Strap that comes with the scarab will NOT hold on a belt or slung strap. Its a easy fix with a different strapping of leather. Overall, besides this flaw, it is a perfect sword!

No this is fantasy has nothing to do whit an original roman sword, because centurions or legionairs use the same sword.Sorry this has nothing to do whit romans

I could only give this sword three stars. It looks nice and feels good, but after my son had it for two days he noticed that the scabbard left groves in the blade. I know how kids are, but when you get a new "toy" you want to play with it and there's nothing more frustrating when things go wrong. I never contacted the seller because I new I got what I paid for and figured it wasn't their fault. It is still a nice looking piece now that he has it hanging up in his room. The shipping was fast and the packaging was done nicely.

This sword isn't the very best of all of my purchases made, however I am pleased with the purchase none the less. The sheath is made of medal and what appears to be plastic with a wooden look to it. Also like I've seen in many reviews the chain looks as if it could possibly break but I am not planning on using it as much more than an addition to my collection. The sword is beautiful, a little longer than the picture makes it look, but the description length is dead on. The grip is made of the same materials as the sheath but it is very sturdy. It is a beautiful piece and I would recommended it to anyone who isn't too serious of a collector. But over all it is very nice and I am satisfied with this purchase.

The only bad thing about this sword is the cheap chain on the case. I just took it off and it is hanging on the wall. It is a good quality blade and looks and feels very nice. Excellent for wall decoration!

I got it very quickly.The packaging was excellent.They were used as props in an opera, and they looked very good.They are a little heavier than I thought they would be, and it would be better for the stage if they were lighter. Maybe you could offer a lighter blade(aluminum?)as an option.The problem is the chain in the rings on the scabbard. The very first time we tried to put weight on one of them, the chain broke out of the top ring. They were able to be fixed, but we paid $50 (total) each, and it seems that we should not have had to fix it right out of the box. I'm working on a belt that will not put weight on the chain, just in case it might happen again. If possible, I don't want any failure with a prop on stage.

got this for decoration which is all it is made for, the blade looks nice but the sheath is clearly cheap plastic even from afar.

It's obviously not a real sword but that was exactly what I expected. I got it for my husband for Christmas and all of his brothers were jealous! It looks just like the picture it feels pretty solid. You really can't beat the price either!
