The factory needs to focus on quality control...cuffs were sewn on opposite sleeves and thus button reverse

Great product. Shirt was delivered with two buttons on one sleeve and none on the other. Moved button to other sleeve and everything good now. This was only a minor problem but the manufacturer could tighten up a little on quality control.

My son is going to welding school and while I cannot truly attest to the warmth of the shirt (it's SE Texas and it's hot right now), I imagine it will be warm enough for our climate. It's pretty durable but would be better with some type of snap enclosure instead of button. As for comfort, my son says it is so-so BUT he is quite picky so his so-so could be someone's just fine. I bought him 3 of these shirts as an added layer of protection while welding since he has already burned his belly and his arm a little! So far, so good in terms of that protection.

Ordered a small. The fit of chest and abdomen is correct. The sleeves are a couple of inches too long and the overall length of the shirt is too long. It is like it is tall instead of a regular. I got it to try as a possible replacement for the Carhartt S209 that is discontinued. At the same time I opened this shirt I opened a new Carhartt S209. The Carhartt is 8oz. fabric. This shirt is said to be 8.1oz fabric. Just by feel the Carhartt fabric feels thicker than the UR. If there is any change in info after washing will update.6/21/22 Update: No change after washing. Fabric is still thinner than Carhartt 8oz. But discovered a major flaw. The shirt was made with two left arms. The cuff on the left arm buttons on the outside of the wrist as it should. The right arm the cuff buttons on the inside of the wrist instead of the outside. Beware!! Check your shirt when you receive it to be sure it is made right. I didn't discover until after return time. Total waste of money.

I weld every now and again and wanted something I could throw on to prevent burns and what not. Its worked well so far. I've only used it several times but it seems like it will hold up fairly well.

Bought the product, and really like the material. It sheds sparks and no holes so far. But, the buttons abandon ship right out of the box. I have had to sew on two in the first week. People who sell clothing should be able to sew on a button…just saying!

The color they list as grey is not grey. It is tan a few shades darker tan.

We live in Rural Oklahoma. Finding FRC is easy, but out here you have to pay $50 or more per shirt. FRC is a requirement for my husband's job, so when he was needing more shirts and telling me he was just going to have to give in and buy a shirt or two, I said I'd check out Amazon. Well, I stumbled upon these shirts, ordered two of this style, and they are great. Plus they were WAY less expensive than purchasing FRC here! We were able to get 4 FRC shirts in total for less than the cost of purchasing 2. And my husband really likes the style and look of this shirt. This is a great purchase!!!!
