It is really easy to use covers well. You must be diligent when rolling the tank to make sure all the surfaces are covered. Dries nice and hard. I should not have any problem with rust from now on. I would recommend buying the kit as it has all the products you need to clean the tank with.

The liner is a very stretchy polymer that adheres well to the inside of metal fuel tanks and keeps tanks from rusting once it's applied. I used this product to seal a large 37 gallon diesel fuel tank and a smaller 2 gallon gas tank. It was very difficult to apply in the large fuel tank since I couldn't see where the liner was flowing due to the tank's shape and inner baffle. The smaller tank was much easier to line since I could see where the liner was flowing inside. I would advise using this product on small tanks or tanks where most of the inside is visible. If you can't see the liner coating the entire inside of a tank, you'll always second guess whether you've fully coated it.Just to add to this, this liner dries kind of fast and becomes globby, so I'd recommend thinning it with a 1:4 ratio methyl ethyl ketone or acetone (one part acetone to 4 parts liner). This also helps it flow better for a quicker and more thorough job.
