The best!
I've gotten another brand at a big box store that were cheap and the pictures were blah. These are fantastic cards! They are a great thickness and quality, the pictures are very well done plus fun and the numbers aren't confusing to young kids. We have other game cards that have the number on the top and bottom corners, both facing the middle of the card which is confusing when one looks like a 9 and one looks like a 6. One game of these has only one number at the top corner and another game has the number on the top and bottom but they are both facing downward so as long as the picture is facing the right way toward the child, there's no issue with what number it is. I got this for Christmas for my 4yr old. The two cardholders work very well also and are helpful for small hands. Great purchase!

Moderate quality
My students like the cards and the cardholders. I do wish there were more cardholders.

Cute Deck!
We misplaced our other Old Maid deck of cards, so ordered this to keep us busy during our home time for CV-19. It was delayed because Amazon is only shipping necessary items right away, which I understand. It did arrive earlier than we were told though, so that was great. The box the cards are in came in a soft envelope, so I was concerned about the condition, but when we opened the envelope, they were perfect! The box itself was wrapped in celophane. The box is sturdy & the cards are all nice. There are 2 cards with directions on them. Then there are 44 cards (22 pairs of different careers) and one Old Maid card. We've already played 4 games and the deck is like new. I think it will be around for a long time! Pleased with price and purchase.

so I was super excited to get this set for my kids for ...
I grew up with specialized decks of cards for the games go fish, old maid, and crazy eights, so I was super excited to get this set for my kids for their stockings. The cards are a good size, a little big for their tiny hands but they'll grow into them :). The pictures on the cards are super cute. I do wish the number 9 and the number 6 were written a bit differently to help the kids distinguish, but there are other ways to tell which is which and we'll get that figured out as well. My three year old and my six year old do enjoy using the card holders. The holders are helpful but when choosing a card a few will fall out (this would totally happen if they were just holding them, though, too). I was originally sent the wrong item from the seller but this was pretty smoothly figured out and they arrived in time for Christmas.

Really wanted to love this set. Maybe when my kids a bit older.
Really wanted to love this set. I thought for sure the illustrations would be colorful enough for a toddler but not too busy. So the pro is, the illustrations are great. Really simple, charming style and it even clearly shows Capital and Lowercase letters. The cons: The cards themselves are a bit smaller and feel flimsier than a regular deck of playing cards. Did not have a deck to compare it to but this seems to be the case. But I'm willing to look past those things. The biggest con for me was that for a game of Matching, the pairs of cards contain differing labels. For instance, one image of an apple reads "Apple" and the other reads "Aa"..."Worm" vs "Ww" and so on. This has caused tremendous confusion for my little one still figuring out the mechanics of the game. When your two year old points out to YOU they look different, its a problem. Others have mentioned some cards use troubling items for pronunciation. C is for Cheese for instance, not "Ch"So its a good size for traveling, but without the cards actually matching, I may have to hold off a bit so its not as confusing. I got a cheaper 3-in-1 set with an Old maid that doubles as a Matching game instead.
