Better Design
There are several of these swing trainers around that are basically clones of a design brought to market by a very popular training aid manufacturer. I have owned the original for about a year and it has been one of my personal favorite training aids. I learned about this one because I own one of the designer's other products, a putting training system (also highly recommended). The design immediately sparked my interest because I have long thought the original design could be improved. One of the main differences in this unit is the longer slot. The original is rather short. When used as designed, the front poles don't really come into play on full shots. I have always played the ball further back in the slot to better center the ball between the front and back poles. This works fine but because the angle of attack is steeper it really doesn't work with the longer clubs. The Slot It adds two design enhancements that make it effective with the longer clubs (including hybrids/fairway woods) and driver. The longer slot allows for the shallow path required by longer clubs and the black poles have a lie angle designed specifically for fairway woods and driver. The larger velcro patches let you adjust the position of the poles to almost any desired location. I think the designer has simply taken a good product and made it better. This trainer will definitely help your swing and is a lot of fun to use. The website has many useful videos to get you started.

Average
I bought two, one for myself and a second for my 19 year old son. My son's broke first time out; he's a beginning and the three wood broke one of the legs. I'm an advanced player and have used it a few times. Doesn't help me with irons, as I'm on the correct path consistently. It did help me with the driver as I didn't realize a couple of swing flaws getting me off plan. I think it will be most helpful for me with that club. Overall, I think its best for beginners but not so sure about how sturdy it is given that my son's broke pretty quickly.

May return it, not sure yet
It's a good idea and it looks like people have had success with it, the issue with this when using irons is that it's really not made for today's game improvement irons. I have callaway rogues and if you put the red bars in the correct position the club head is really too big to even do a back swing w/o hitting them. You can move them wider apart which helps some but another issue is that when you miss and hit the the red bars go flying out, I get you can't have them on there solid but something where they will just fold down and pop back up would be better. So plan on doing a lot of waking back/forth to get them and if you are at a range it may not be the safest thing to do. Right idea just not the greatest for beginners who use game improvement irons. Which means it might not be for anyone since I doubt a low handicap is going to be using this.

Great Looking
Used this devise every day for a week. Felt good after using it. Played 18 holes today. Shot 120. Shots all went right, but my shots before purchasing this devise always went right. I will keep practicing with the devise to see if does improve my shots, if so I will write another review.

Best Swing Path Trainer
I was introduced to a device similar to this during a golf lesson to correct my out to in swing path. I start with very slow swings with no ball and work up each day I use it. It has been the best training aid for correcting a swing path that I have found.

Good idea, but device not practical for real full swings
Read other reviews, looked good to help my swing, so I bought one...1. Overpriced for what you get2. The bottom plastic plate to which you adhere the foam guide polls gets in the way when trying to take your club back and/or on your down swing. Within a couple of full swings I almost broke it as I kept hitting the base plate. One or two more swings and it would have been in 20 pieces.3. Flimsy at best, not well built for the high price they chargeGood idea, but needs to be reworked and toughened up!

Average golf training tool at best
I’m not 100% sold on the principle of this teaching tool yet. Have used it a few times without any real benefit to my swing from it yet.The quality of this product is exceptional though. The posts stay attached well and it’s very sturdy looking.I’ll update my review after more uses.

Excellent training aid.
This is one of my favourite training aids for swing path. Originally I was always hitting the inside back post on my takeaway and the far front post on my downswing, so I opened my stance slightly and I could easily swing through without hitting any posts (my stance may have been closed to begin with).
