I've watched my wife give these pills and other medicine to our cats several times and its pretty much a non-event. She wraps the pill in a small ball of wet cat food so that no part of the pill is exposed. Then she holds the cat tucked under her left arm and the cat's jaw in her left hand. With the right hand pry open the lower jaw and then grip the sides of the jawbone with the thumb and index finger with the left hand and hold it open. Now that the right hand is free, pick up the ball of cat food (with the medicine inside) and poke it down their throat with your index finger and then get your finger out (important to be very secure in your grip on their jaw, and in being quick about inserting the food ball - no "pussyfooting" around!). Then quickly with your left thumb and index finger on their nose and jaw, hold their jaw closed and their head pointed up. With your right thumb and index finger make a small "V" shape and then make downward strokes with the V of your fingers on their throat to help work the ball of food/medicine down. The actual part of handling the cat takes about 5 seconds. The cat walks away a little indigent, but it is done and over so quickly that there really isn't time for any drama by either party. Same process with liquid medicine in a cat medicine syringe - make sure the tip of the syringe is far enough down the throat to be past the magic point where it is easier for it to go down and not back up. BTW - the tape worm pills work perfectly - one pill in each cat and you're done.

This is a lovely way to commemorate your love for your animal and to keep him/her close to you,even in death. When I first purchased this, I tightened the closure too much and the ring broke off. I had already sealed some of my dog's ashes in the pendant. When I contacted the company, they sent me a new pendant and did not charge me or require me to return the one I had. I think that shows a lot of empathy and compassion during a very difficult time. I am grateful to them for that and for making such a beautiful item.

TradeWinds Tape Worm Tabs seem to work pretty well. My cats came from a feral mom, so fleas were a problem. Of course 8 months later I noticed segments of tapeworms in their feces. It has been about a week and they are acting less crazy hungry. I haven't noticed any more segments. The only thing I wish is that they gave an even number of tablets (comes with 3). I will have to order more in a month, but worth every penny. It is much cheaper than a trip to the Vet. I am all about taking care of animals, but paying an exam fee every time I need to take one in adds up.

We were trying to socialize a feral cat before winter, and noticed that he was starving all the time, but still very slender. I figured he had worms. I bought these and cut the first tablet in half & crushed it in his food - he'd never been exposed to any kind of medication so I wanted to try this slowly. A couple days later, I noticed he left some food in his dish. So 3 or 4 days later, I noticed he was hungry again & I tried a full tablet - crushed it and put it in his food. After that he ate normally and even left some food in his dish. That indicated these tablets worked. He was coming around and we thought he'd consider staying in the house during the cold winter nights. Unfortunately, our little guy was severely injured and our vet had to put him down late last fall. I'm glad we were able to give him a happier & easier life with a safe place to eat & relax in the sun with no tapeworm.

This product is truly a huge savings. As a cat owner, the moment I see those little "rice" looking things, I start imaging the huge vet bill I will receive(office visit, fecal exam, medicine etc). This pill allows me to skip all those steps and go straight to what I know my cats need. It is easy on your pocket, but is not lacking in quality. This product is a must have for any cat owner!A few warnings:1) It's not easy to administer to your cat. It doesn't taste good, and is a pretty large pill. If you have a difficult cat, you'll probably need some help and major skills to get them to take the pill.2) Do your research and make sure that they actually have tape worms. If not, then it's a waste and you're not actually solving the problem. I would suggest monitoring them for the next couple of weeks to insure the tape worms are gone. If not, you may want to follow up with your vet.Overall, this product has saved me a good chunk of cash and my fur babies are now worm free! So happy I am able to buy this online!

All three of my dogs have one and they work really well! I currently live in NC and it is hot and humid so there are plenty of biting bugs around.

These are great because they collapse and store easily in our vehicles. They have come in very handy when traveling with our dogs, especially during summer months.

Excellent set... the brush is great for use my cats, even my long hairs. The flea comb works better than other combs more than 3 times the cost of this one.

Pretty but my daughter who never breaks out from anything (even the cheapest jewelry)broke out in nasty rash on her neck after wearing.
