Good idea but needs some polishing
Manual is minimalist and confusing with 10 different languages interlacing each other. Got it to work after realizing that bluetooth pairing happens within the iOS app ("Cycle on Earth") not in the iOS setting. "Cycle on Earth" works except its refreshing rate in Google Street View is about one frame every 5 seconds on my home network with Verizon FiOS. Not quite "virtual reality" yet. Also the screen seems to be locked in portrait mode on my iPhone 4S. Would be nice if Google Street View can be displayed in landscape mode so that I can "airplay" it to my Apple TV.The product has a good idea behind it. Its "Cycle on Earth" app still needs some work. I would give it 5 stars if its refresh rate can be improved to 1 frame per second or faster...

Great concept but....
The idea of the XSPIN is great but it has not worked very well for me. The majority of the time it doesn't stay connected to Bluetooth and notifications from other apps (iPhone 5, iOS 7.1.1) cause the Cycle Rush 2 app to pause. I have had to come up with too many workarounds to get this device to track my rides (spin bike).I will say that Pafers customer support is good (therefore a 3 star rating otherwise it would be only be 2). I emailed them twice to see if they can help me figure out my issues with the XSPIN and both times they got back to me very quickly. I tried their suggestions (change the battery in the XSPIN and close other applications running in the background) but still have trouble with connectivity and app pausing. Maybe the next update to their app and/or iOS will solve will resolve some of these issues.Until then I can't give this device a higher rating.

Wanted this to work...
Device was non-functioning on arrival. Even after changing battery could not establish bluetooth connection. There are no indicators to show if it's on, off, or just dead.

bluetooth connection problems, terrible documentation, and it just stopped working. Pinged them for support and got useless information. I work with wireless communications for my job and still had trouble. Do not but this.

To unstable. Looses contact all the timw with the iphone and the app. And the app Cycle Rush is buggy. If you buy extra classes, it won't let you use them because it tells you that you didn't download them or buy them....

Great idea, poor delivery
This device seems like a great idea, but either mine was defective, or its not ready for retail. This device would only sync with my ipad 4th gen when they were less than 2 feet apart, and would lose sync in the small distance between the crank and the handlebars (2.5 feet) causing the app to stop.On the subject of apps:===Cycle on earth===This is probably the reason you buy the device, it lets you ride around a predefined route in google maps and includes street view. I tested this app by placing my ipad on a small stand near the pafers to at least see how it works. The first thing you'll note, if you don't make an account it puts you into a guest account that logs nothing. If you do make an account, its failed to login most times you launch the app and you'll have to login again. It only supports kph, and if you have location service turned on, no matter where you put your start point, it plots your route from your current gps location. For my testing I went ahead and turned off the location service and it let me put my start point anywhere. When the google car drives around it takes a picture about every 10 feet, but the cycle on earth software does not update every 10 feet, it updates about every 500. I plotted a 1.5 mile long course and the software updated the street view approximately once per city block on a 50mbit connection. Testing the same route on google maps on the ipad updates the image in under 2 seconds, so this is clearly an app problem. It seemed to measure cadence properly but there's no setting for tire size or gear ratios so I was able to bike around at 70kph.===Cycle rush===Would not sync with the pafers device so I did not get to use it.XSPIN:Pros:Great conceptSmall and rugged deviceCons:Extremely short rangeSupport was unhelpful (basically told me to rtfm)Software is very poorXspin hardware does not work with any other apps
