It comes with beekers and sticks type of stuff but does NOT include the actual ingredients. I was hoping that it was going to include “premeasured prepackaged” stuff for my boys to just “have at it” ... not the case... my kiddos are 1 almost 12 and my other is 5 so yeah. Was hoping that it was going to be something for them to do and not me doing a lot of it for them .

Meh. Doesn’t include any ingredients just molds, a few sticks and a booklet of instructions. Be prepared to buy gelatins, food coloring, sugar, etc... I was unaware and had a very disappointed 5 year old when he had to wait for me to order groceries.

My daughter enjoyed this sugar science kit, my son was not so into it. There are a total 20 of sugar based experiments to make. You will need household supplies to do this kit. My daughter was fascinated by using the included glucose strips to test different foods with. She also liked activating yeast with water and sugar, making a balloon inflate. My son did like making the gummy candies, especially the gummy worms. Making the rock candy takes some time. The sugar crystals started to form in about 24 hours but you have to give it 7-10 days for the crystals to become a nice size. Overall, an interesting kit that perhaps older children will enjoy better.The colorful, illustrated instruction booklet is clear and easy to understand. It also has a section explaining what is going on for every experiment.

Good for a gummy making experience with Kids. Makes a great giftabIe set. I made gummies and candy with my son. They turned out great. Perfect thickness and sheerness. Keep in mind...you have to buy the indicated ingredients separately. Fun kit.

It's fun, but be aware there are many many things that the package doesn't include that you need to purchase separately.

Directions lack enough detail to be kid friendly. It took a lot of adult deciding and guidance.
