The Devil Wears Prada [Blu-ray] [2006]

Incredibly stressful to watch, as you get caught up in the maniacal rush, where everybody wants everything yesterday and it all has to be perfect, and even if it is perfect and on time it doesn't matter anyway because something else immediately takes its place.I don't know why I watched it to be honest, although it was entertaining, but ultimately hopelessly shallow and awful. Well done though and the actors were marvellous, darling. But I'm afraid three lousy stars is all it will get from me. What a simply ghastly way to live one's life.

This is a movie from 2006 but it never gets outdated. My 13 year old found it also fab> All actors are extremely good with an outstanding performance from Meryl Streep albeit expected and Anne Hathaway is stunning and Tucci is absolutely magnificent. It depicts perfectly the world of publishing and fashion showing the true colours of these worlds. I recommend this movie to anyone who had not have a chance to see it.

Such a brilliant movie, sharply scripted ( Meryl Streep in particular has some great lines ) and a great cast. My whole family enjoyed it, ( girl 14 and boy 12 ) and it's one of those rare movies that has a universal appeal, no real bad language or sex references and a good ending.

Having watched this film for the first time whilst recovering from a back problem I simply had to order to add to my dvd collection. I was never a huge fan of Anne Hathaway until I saw her in this film - she is simply superb. Alongside the wonderful Meryl Streep and Emily Blunt she plays a great part. I loved watching the transformation from dowdy, not really bothered about fashion girl to trendy Miss. A great story-line, amusing yet touching - would highly recommend. Be warned, if you're watching this and wearing anything less than designer you'll want to go and change!!

Meryl Streep and Anne Hathaway have an amazing professional relationship in this movie which is portrayed well. I found that the movie wasn't also fun to watch but it also revealed a lot about the ruthless side of the corporate world. Must watch for any young woman who's looking to make a career for herself in the big bad business world!

While I am a man can understand some of the torture of the fashion industry, love this film as tells this as well as the final freedom at the end she has to choose her own future. The click clackers will be a quote for me for a long time. Sit back and enjoy the film.

I was disappointed with the end. It seemed to contradict one of the key messages of the film, which was a great shame. That being said, the acting, costumes and starting story were all great. I have also watched more than three times so it's still definitely worth watching.

We enjoyed this film, it is not as.... lightwatching as you may think, there is a deeper meaning there, casual discrimination, light bullying, weight shaming. Brilliant acting from all the cast as you would expect from the list of names.
