Good for Shotgunning, Bad for Opening Bottles
The Beer Gem does its job as a shotgun tool...though, adequately at best. The tool is a bit bulky, but I appreciate how solid it feels in one's hand when slicing open a frothy beverage. I wish the tool itself had a bit more of an "edge" to help with piercing the can, but it rarely takes me long to actually make a drinking hole.It is not great at venting!!! I can't seem to recreate the process shown in the pictures.However, my biggest gripe is the fact that it provides very little leverage when it comes to opening bottles. The tool is not long enough to provide a "lever" for removing caps, a lesson I learned the hard way when cutting a finger while attempting to use it.Would send it back and try a different tool if it would not cost me $6 (40% of the purchase price) to ship back, without reimbursement.

Don’t buy for shotgunning beer ....bottle opener works tho lol
It sucks for shotgunning beer but great bottle opener get the bear claw on something else lol I gave it to my friend to use as a bottle opener
