Digital Pocket Viewer

I bought this at Target. When I got home, I followed the directions for charging it, and......nothing. Turns out the directions are wrong. My husband went online and found someone who was actually able to make it work. We followed his directions, but it still did not work. I returned it the next day. This was very frustrating! How difficult is it to design and make a digital picture viewer that actually works?

Maybe those who bought this pocket viewer last year, 2009, got a bad batch, but the one I bought from Target 5-2010 (on clearance) worked fine... I plugged it in and figured out the rest on my own. OK, granted it is not the quality of an Ipod screen, but come on people for a $3 device (actually I paid $2.49)... the price of a cup of coffee ... I've got a great gift for family and friends... and, well, for $2.49 I would even give this to a foe. Highly Recommended if you can get it this cheap.
