I am in love with these books. This particular one might be one of my favorites, as I feel like all three of my boys (ages 4-7) can get an equal amount out of it. The colors are very vivid and engaging, and I like how even I as an adult can learn from books that are accessible by the little guys. My seven year-old is an avid learner and his eyes light up whenever one comes in the mail.I'd also suggest the second part of the Anatomy and Physiology as well. It's more about body processes and systems, where as this one is a very bright, easy to read tour of structure. I plan on buying one of these a month until I'm able to complete the series. My oldest son is in the gifted program at school and some of them go nicely with the enrichment units they're working on.I wish there were more books out there like these--just because kids are young, doesn't mean they can't be fascinated and brought into a colorful non-fiction world.

I got this book for my three year old son who loves the human body and was so pleasantly surprised! My fifteen year old daughter even learned about the different types of muscles, tendons and bones in the human body. The book is very informative and easy to read. My son and I read this book every night now before bed. I look forward to purchasing more books from this creative and educational author! I highly recommend this book for all ages!

As a woman in Science and a mother of two daughters, I am in love with these books!!! The illustrations are bright, well done and engaging!! My four year old loves to seat with me and learn the terms and actually understands the basics. These books are an essential exposure for little ones to Science. I own four of the series and I am looking forward to acquire more. As a woman, I am also extremely proud the author April Chloe Terrazas is a woman empowering little minds to become scientists. Big cheers to her!!

This is an awesome book for my 7 and 5 years old. The book is colorful and the illustrations are attractive. It presents complex science facts in a very kid-friendly way. With the unique "sounding it out" method the author uses, even my beginner reader can read this book aloud. It makes him so proud that he is able to finish this book on his own.

I read the first two pages of this book and learned a ton! I can't say enough good things about these books. Honestly I was skeptical when I saw them online. How can a book cater from age 0-100? But after trying one, I now own EIGHT with three more on the way and I can't wait for new releases to buy more. I have a FOUR year old that knows the parts of a plant cell. Incredible. Please keep writing books!

This is the second book we've received from the Super Smart Science Series and it only solidified our love for these books. A wealth of information is packed into the pages and I've learned so much myself! Again, the simple yet clear illustrations hold attention, yet don't overwhelm. The series has so many topics that my children are constantly entertained and asking for more. Our homeschooling science group loves them as well!
