First off, yes unboxing and unravelling these is a bit of a chore, but the end result is worth it.Secondly, YES these are connectable. The ends are not the traditional "plug" we're used to, but rather small pins which are located under the screw-top pieces on the ends. The black screwtop (comes attached to the part you plug into the wall) is permanently attached to the cord at the male end and when plugged in to the female end acts as a cover for the joint and keeps it secure. The clear top (which removes completely) is the female end.Tips for unravelling:1) It goes against intuition, but DO NOT untie the twist tie. It will help keep that extra length of cord out of your way2) DO NOT try to do this sitting down. You need the weight of the stars and cord to keep things separated.3) Use a bar of some sort to help keep the sorted ones separate if you're by yourself (I used my patio swing top bar) Otherwise, DO enlist a second set of hands.4) Start with unbraiding/twisting the large stars. As you get one or two undone, hang them over the bar or give them to your second set of hands to keep them out of the way.5) Do the same with the small stars, but as you break free one, hang it over the bar (see the theme?) until you can get them all apart.6) Hang them using the incredibly helpful hooks attached. Keep in mind, these hooks are small, with an opening about the size of a dime. I pre-hung some heavy string to attach them to on my balcony ceiling.7) Take a drink. You deserve it. You adulted, and didn't throw the whole thing across the room in a wadded up light ball, and now you have something pretty to show for your hard work

The media could not be loaded.  Pros: lights look great, easy to hang, the cord is nice and long. Love the remote that lets you choose the type of flash you want and has an on/off switch- I can adjust the lights without going outside in the cold.Cons: the product is a bit cheaply made, but all the lights work fine and it looks really nice at night. I gave 4 stars because the lights came in the biggest tangle I’ve ever seen. Took me well over an hour to untangle.

Amazon delivers so fast.I love it.I also like this star curtain lights so much.I received item today.There are too many stars in this curtain lights.It takes so much time to unpacking it.When I asked for help on the home page, I saw a video tutorial link in "customer questions".So I quickly unpacking the curtain lights.Although I like it very much, I have to make 4 star review for my order.I need to tell other people that you need to watch the video link and you can save a lot of time to unpacking it.

Purchased to update our simple outdoor holiday display. Really dressed things up nicely, though I'm a bit worried how they will fare in the winter wind, I may have to do a lot of untangling. Speaking of which, yes, whoever packages these things specializes in torture, but the payoff is nice. An unboxing tip: after some minor untwisting, hang each white hook in sequence on a hook or coat hanger as you proceed through the string. The tension helps and they don't re tangle (much). See attached pics. I would have given this product 5 stats, as it's really quite beautiful, but the remote(s) don't work at all, maybe dead batteries. There is no indicator light turning on like the sync instructions say. However there is a button on the transformer that you can use to change modes (if you feel like getting up there). Though I consider this a "nice to have" feature, for the price I expect full functionality.

Looks beautiful! The cord length is good. It’s long enough to plug in without extension cord. The lights radiate a warm tone. (With this kind of product I’m always hesitant to order because I’ve been disappointed too often with the lumen being off and the light being too cool.) Quality seems great for inside - not sure if they would last very long outdoors exposed to the elements.A minor faux pas - the remote control doesn’t work even after exchanging the battery. Hence I’m taking off one star.Installation didn’t bother me. With an item like this I’m expecting to spend some time detangling. I hung one end up and thus could arrange the wires with more ease.

The only con that I haven't seen mentioned in other comments is that they blink off and back on every couple minutes or so (at the end of each "cycle", I assume). This irritates me although it's not a big deal. I also SWEAR the description when I bought them said the lit portion is 8 feet long... it now correctly says the lit portion is 7.2 feet long, which is accurate, so I don't know if they updated the description or if I was imagining things when I bought them. Other than that, I really like these lights. I bought them for Christmas but they look so nice in our sunroom window that I might leave them up year round!

purchased for my daughter’s bedroom. it is easy to install as it came with hooks already attached to it, but you got to have some patience untangling the wires specially if you are doing it by yourself, otherwise still easy to set up. another thing i like about theselights is the remote control that came with it, which allows you to change the mode or pattern of the blinking and also lets you adjust the brightness of the lights. we use it also as a night light and not just for decoration, since i’ve realized that the dimmed brightness together with the slow twinkling of the lights (cue twinkle twinkle little star lullaby) was not only mesmerizing but also relaxing to my daughter, thus making her sleepy! overall, i am happy that my daughter loves it, and i highly recommend this product.

Ich kann es wirklich nur empfehlen, bis jetzt die schönste Weihnachtskette die ich bis hier gekauft habe.Wollte gerne noch 2 stück bestellen , leider sind die zur Zeit ausverkauft , kein Wunder.

Die Lichterkette kam wie gewohnt zügig an.Beim öffnen des Kartons fiel mir sofort der eigenartige Stecker auf.Er ist nicht EU tauglich, man benötigt also einen Adapter.Nach Mail Kontakt mit dem Hersteller hatte ich bereits nach zwei Tagen noch einmal eine neue Lichterkette, welche allerdings wieder diesen nicht tauglichen Stecker enthielt.Der Hersteller bot mir dann zwar Erstattung an, aber den Adapter muss ich mir dann letztendlich doch noch extra kaufen.Guter Service des Herstellers, wer also Mehrkosten einplant, hat ein sehr schönes Produkt.

Klar, hätte ich mit die Beschreibung und die Bilder genauer angeguckt, wäre es mir wohl aufgefallen.Aber warum wird nicht deutlicher darauf hingewiesen, dass die Lichterkette nicht für Europa/Deutschland gedacht ist?Habe dann einen Trafo von einer anderen Lichterkette angeschlossen und festgestellt, dass nicht alle Sterne geleuchtet haben, also auch noch defekt...

Lichterkette kam als ein wildes Knäuel. Beim Entwirren gingen zwei Sterne ab, ließen sich aber wieder zusammen stecken. Die Fernbedienung ging gar nicht. Mann hat keinen Einfluß, wie die Kette leuchtet. Mal leuchten alle mal nur jeder zweite. Am Fenster selbst macht sie dann ein schönes Licht. Würde sie nicht zum Kauf empfehlen!

An sich eine sehr schöne Lichterkette. Leider funktioniert die Fernbedienung nicht. Rotes Lämpchen leuchtet, jedoch tut sich nichts an der Lichterkette. Auch ein Batteriewechsel brachte nix. Verkäufer angeschrieben, jedoch keine Reaktion. Schade.. Werde Artikel wohl zurückschicken müssen.
