Worth Buying
I had the dream to fly in the sky like the birds do but could not pursue any course till date. Paragliding and Hang gliding attracts me since my childhood but it took 45 years to complete my dreams and I am doing a Paragliding course. The Book was bought to give me pre-training insights into the flying and already the 50% of dream has been completed.Reading the book makes me engorged deeply to understand the basics of flying and already I feel like I do know the art of flying by reading this Book. All the aspects of Paragliding is minutely illustrated which makes my reading easily understandable. The book is the best.I feel it is worth buying this book

Must HAVE IF YOU WANT To LEARN TO FLY.
First Rate Pilot Training Guide , The DVD Is Good Too but The Sound Track seems a bit garbled, wish it had CC for hearing impaired. But I give this TRAINING GUIDE 5 STARS and Amazon replaced The book That was Missing the DVD Included with book Quickly 😎

Great book on paragliding
This book provides lots of detail about flying and is written in an easy to read way. The pictures/photos are black and white and sometimes difficult to see the detail, however it keeps costs down (I suppose) and doesn't distract from the overall quality of the book. Definitely worth having.

So far the best manual . . ..
I am a old military pilot that has just began paragliding. So far this appears to be one of the best manuals available right now. I have ordered "The Art of Paragliding" but have not received it yet so this review will be updated after I have compared the two. Right now I have review all of the book but have concentrated on ground school portion and I believe this manual covers all subjects that I need to get my solo rating. After reading numerous reviews and extensively cross referencing this book with "Youtube Videos" I feel that this manual does cover all the major subjects in this training area.Update August 29, 2013 . . .. I now have "The Art of Paragliding" and have compared the two. I now recommend both. This book first and the aforementioned second for the experienced "solo" pilot and the reverse for the beginning "student" pilot. The books compliment and reinforce each other. For the serious student I would diffidently recommend both.
