The media could not be loaded.  There are many reviews saying that sweeteners get crushed or they’re too small. That’s not the fault of the dispenser. This is a German product and and I notice that none of the German reviews even mention the problem of pill size. This would suggest that pill size there is standardised. In the UK there are a multitude of pill sizes. Canderel pills are too big and get crushed. Hermesetas, Splenda and Sweetex are all too small and come out two at once. The correct size for the dispenser (as indicated by the manufacturer) is 5mm x 2mm. As another reviewer has pointed out Aldi’s own brand ‘The Pantry Sucralose sweetener tablets’ work well. However I find that because of their slightly bulbous shape they too get jammed and crushed occasionally. (If this happens you might need to scrape out the ejector hole with a small screwdriver).However! The one pill that fits the dispenser perfectly is Tesco’s own brand (Tesco low calorie sweetener with sucralose) which has the added advantage of being considerably cheaper. They’re the same size as the Aldi ones but flatter and not bulbous.The other criticism made in other reviews is that the item would benefit from a screw top. I agree.

Sweeteners got stuck as soon as I tried using it......waste of money.....dont bother buying this!!

Was very wary about buying reading the reviews, but must say that I am impressed 3 days in. It works ! and doesn't crush my sweeteners. For that reason alone it gets my 5 stars regardless of some minor points.Yes, the bottom edges feel a bit sharp, but no real issue, the lid fits just fine and you probably remove it only every 3 months or so to fill it up. It is a pity it is quite large so doesn't travel well, I guess I will just continue to use the original dispenser for that. The sweetener I use is Aldi house brand sucralose and the tablets is exactly 2mm thick and has a 5 mm diameter.Rest assured that I will come back and update if it does start crushing my sweeteners.

The dispensing hole did not let any sweeteners through. Also lid far too loose. However immediate, no quibble refund

Chews up the tablets!!

This is a superb bit of kit. Dispenses Hermeseta or similar sized sweeteners perfectly well. Best to dispense into your hand first. I’ve tried every dispenser you can buy and they all fail because of the poor design and fragile plastic used in the mechanism.This one uses much more robust materials. The lid fits perfectly well with no problems. So contrary to a lot of reviewers comments, this is a dispenser I would highly recommend.

This item does not work ad it clogs up like plastic dispensers. Save your money

Paired this with the Sussli pellets, works like a charm. Not sure what the people are doing to have it crush every pellet, etc etc. Great product.

Facile à remplir et jolie sur la table

In den Spender passen die handelsüblichen Süßstoff Sorten. Er ist schön groß und sieht edel aus. Schade nur, dass der Boden nicht mit einem Deckel verschlossen ist. Die Ränder unten sind daher etwas scharfkantig.

De zoetjes blokkeren aan de onderkant waar ze uit moeten komen. Dus de zoetjes zijn te dik voor deze dispenser.

Net strak model, buitenkant goed te reinigen. De doorvoer van de zoetjes verloopt niet altijd soepel en dat is jammer, maar niet onoverkomelijk. Ik beveel het product aan.
