This is not a traditional hand made item and is overly priced.
I bought this after seeing the wrong reviews here. The item size is small, the metal thickness is less and is very light in weight. This is misleadingly named as NatchiyarKovil, Traditional and all - but is actually an ordinary factory made piece of low quality. The base of the tumbler is bulging outwards in convex shape and hence will not sit properly and may easily tumble over. The one I received had black marks and depressions (denting) on the metal of the bottom Devara. The item was very shabbily packed - no cushioning to prevent damage and denting. I have checked it in the local market and item with twice the metal thickness of this one with a larger bottom Davara and better metal is available at little more than half the price of this item. They should not mislead people by selling cheap factory made items in the name of traditional artisans - which is a great crime towards such poor noble souls.
